Vučić from Paris: I spoke with Macron for two hours; Difficult times are coming, we must prepare together
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, addresses the press.

"We discussed many issues, including Serbia's European path," he explained.
He mentioned that he invited France to participate in EXPO27.
"We both realized that we are entering a turbulent time that will last. We have to prepare for difficult times. It is important to have such a great ally as France. We also talked about relations in the region. I had initiatives related to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska. I am proud of the way we have endured terror in the last four months," explained Vučić.
"I want to thank President Macron for taking two hours and coming from Egypt tonight".
Then Vučić looked back and said that he and Emmanuel Macron also talked about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.
"We are getting closer to a similar opinion, even though France has accepted Kosovo's independence," he said, noting that Macron devoted two hours of his time to talking with him.
Aleksandar Vučić then told the journalists that Macron, like him, behaves very responsibly.
"Emmanuel and I have seen each other 28 times, we are friends. I bought 6 wines and Prokupac glasses. And he brought me wines. We are friends personally, not only as representatives of our countries. We are only human, after all", revealed Vučić.
When asked what was the most difficult topic, he said that "Bosnia and Herzegovina is always the most difficult topic.
Commenting on the fact that he allegedly hid his visit to Paris, Vučić said: "I announced it at the most watched conference. What was I hiding? In the minds of the frivolous and irresponsible, anything is possible. To them, everything abnormal has become normal, every lie has become the truth. Who knows who I met with today."
"I am grateful for friendship and understanding"
After the meeting with the French president, Vučić posted on his Instagram account:
"Thank you dear friend Emmanuel Macron for the warm and cordial welcome. I am very satisfied with our conversation, because I believe that it will bring concrete and good results for Serbia.
We talked about everything — from Serbia's European path and France's participation in EXPO2027, to geopolitical topics, our bilateral cooperation and additional investments by French companies in Serbia. We noted that the relations between France and Serbia are strong and friendly, and we agreed on what we can and must do together in the coming period.
I am grateful to President Macron for his friendship and understanding towards Serbia. All this speaks of respect for our country and people."
