Vučić: As of September 1, we are preparing a package of measures; The Constitution will be amended VIDEO
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that he is preparing a comprehensive program of support for the people, especially the middle class and poorer people, from September 1.
"We are preparing together with people from the Government of Serbia many important things for you. We know very well what the inflation rate is and that is why we always try to increase wages and pensions significantly above that rate, but we also know that it is not always easy. And we understand very well that there are a large number of people who belong to the lower middle class and who are somewhat poorer. What I am saying today concerns those people who help the progress of Serbia with their work and who still do not live easily or live hard. We are preparing a large package of measures from September 1, which should help those people the most," said Vučić.
"We will make sure that the prices of the most important products in our stores are lower, that loans are cheaper, that the interest rates for you are lower, and especially that we start with the initiative to amend the Constitution, which concerns the impossibility of executors in the enforcement procedure to take away the living space, apartment or house of people who have that only place where they live with their family," Vučić announced on his Instagram profile.
"This will bring more justice, but also greater security for you, our citizens. We also know that from the end of August and September, problems begin with the prices of firewood. Problems also begin with the fact that the level of entry into the red for cheap electricity drops. We will see to solving these problems together with you. Wait until August 25, but expect big and good news from your country," he emphasized.
