"Yes Germans are a very hard working people, but it’s a fact that Germany was rebuilt only to stop the spread of communism and it would have spread if it remained a poor and backward country. "
(sj, 25 May 2016 08:49)

You talk about the Marshal plan? Yes, but spreading billions on a country doesn't create a functional democratic state without the work and will of people living there. Best example is Kosovo, the bottomless pit, one of the most corrupt and poorest countries in Europe, lead by mafia clans, population with numerous extremists, in spite of the billions of Euro donated and spent there.

And why would have communism spread? Already a few years after WW2, 100s of thousands of east Germans fled from communism to the west, long before the economic boom started. Sorry to disappoint you, if people are free to choose, the communism simply cannot survive, nowhere, all experiments so far failed.

NATO bombed Serbia not because they were saving anyone, but simply because they wanted the land. If I am wrong then why didn’t NATO go to Rwanda? They went in to save Afghanistan.
(sj, 25 May 2016 08:49)

I think (but I might be wrong since I have not see the latest world map of the CE of B02 forums sj) that Rwanda is in Africa, and not close to any NATO country. Also, Rwanda was not harboring any terrorist groups attacking NATO countries. So, not sure what NATO should have gone to Rwanda for!!!

In any case, NATO did not get Serbia's land due to the heroic Serbian resistance so Serbia won a great victory and NATO was defeated because, according to the CE of B92 forums sj, NATO is all P... and wind.

Politically Hofner did not lose at all. Bellen is tied to policies of the far right whether he likes it or not. He only won by a very small margin and he cannot ignore the likes and wants of half of the people who voted so Hofner has a big voice.
But this stone-age business of putting a cursing is amusing. It did not work.

To compare Germany with Serbia is like comparing apples with oranges. Germany was responsible for the deaths of 50 million people.

FPÖ is a fascist party. They are merely using demagoguery to get Serbian voters on their side despite that fact, so I honestly think that the title is misleading.

Whether or not this man is Russian doesn't matter. He seems to mean well so far, but even if he doesn't, he can't be worse than the party Neo-Nazis vote for.

We don’t need anybody’s history but we also hate when our history is stolen. Say we hate when other people call themselves Albanians. If the man is proud of his Russian roots it’s nobody’s business. Besides Austria aka Austriki aka Oster Reich aka Eastern Empire means Russia and nothing else but Russia. Vienna was the one of the few places where the Great Horde ruled it European colonies from. The first 5 Habsburgs were Russian Great Kniaz/Khans. Word HABSBURG is composed of the Russian HAB (NEW) and local BURG (CITY) = НОВГОРОД. So were called NEAPOL/NAPOLI and many other newly built cities. We can talk about it.

Just for Information: because of the communists and their ideology of Stalinism … later when Stalin invaded and annexed this country …

Mudak, you know nothing! Bolsheviks had 3 fractions – German of Lenin, British-American (Rothschilds) of Trotsky and patriotic of Stalin. That’s why Stalin eliminated them all. As for annexation it total idiotism to hear it even from you. Just for your information the Austrians are grateful because we didn’t avenge their atrocities and because we saved Vienna from destruction. A Russian Captain on a car eneterd the center of the city and raised a very big Soviet flag. It demoralized the Germans and they surrendered. And I understand them …

And most has to do with the people there, who simply worked to rebuild the country instead of claiming things and complaining how unjust the world has been to them, how much land they have lost, how many things have been destroyed and how much people were killed during the bombing of Nazi Germany (there have been 10 times more casualties in ONE town in ONE night than in whole Serbia during the full 'NATO bombing' campaign.

Oh well, 'Russian origins'. In fact, his family, who emigrated from Holland to Russia in the 18th century, had to flee from there because of the communists and their ideology of Stalinism . When did Serbia commit this genocide? Last time I looked it was the purview of the UNSC to decide if genocide was committed and since no resolution was ever passed I doubt that anyone would listen to a band of semiliterate drunks who failed law school in their respective countries nor could they tie their own shoelaces let alone sit on a traffic court proclaim that someone committed genocide.
It’s so sad that migrants like you praise something that you neither understand nor have ever seen. You would not know free lifestyle or freedom if it bit you on your backside. Paraphrasing like parrots.
But if I am wrong and since you have lived in this freedom and democracy for so long perhaps you might enlighten us with what that means.

what a redicules headline, and what a dumb and misleading article. Rest assured, a huge overwhelming majority in Europe is NOT supporting Serbia with it's claim on Kosovo. That applies to governments and normal citizens. People have not forgotten what Milosevic Serbia did in the entire Balkans in the 90's. Serbia is still and will be seen in the future as a country which started brutal and bloody wars, killed innocent people, comitted genocide. That won't be forgotten, just like the attrocities of the Nazi's were not forgotten. Serbia has to live with that past, but has lerned nothing from it compared to Germany.
Pointing out Van der Bellen's russian heritage is fine, but what you try to imply, that he has sympathies for Putin-Russia, is not only far fetched, it is simply wrong. Putin-Russia has sympathizers amongest right wing groups in Europe, like the FPÖ in Austria, National Front / France or AFD / Germany, but certainly not from a overwhelming majority of citizens or governments. Nobody, except for a few crazies like sj or Peggy would trade a free lifestyle like what we enjoy in the west to a suppressive and undemocratic life in poor and underdeveloped Russia. WE treasure our freedom and would never trade it in for a life Russia offers to his poor citizens.
