Dorë: dor ( ë ) is hand in Albanian. ( Theo dor “The hand of God” ).

Jugoslavija : In Greek, Theo (God) and Doro (Thoro) means gift in Greek as well.
It’s a small problem for me to prove that DAR is a Slavic word. But I see no sense as in general you both agree the meaning in your languages is more or less the same. By the way Russian words also have explanation and the Greek interpretation of this Russian word is closer to the original. One more form of the name is FEODOR or FEODAR. In Russia DAR also is added to names of cities like Krasnodar, Pavlodar ect. Also DAR has the same meaning in Persian because this state was established by the Russians. In medieval times word PARS meant COUNTRY in Russia. It was written PRS on pergament and some read it PARS or PARSIA or Persia. Even their last Shah-in-Shah’s (Mohammad Reza Pehlevi) father was a Cossack Colonel. Anyways in Persian DAR means having something like WATANDAR = PATRIOT = the one who has Fatherland.
