Novak 2015 vs. Roger 2006 – we say Djokovic

We say Nole, definitely. Nole because he best represents Serbia's finest people. Nole because Nole has a noble soul. Nole because Nole is the best Ambassador UNICEF has ever appointed.

Still in 2015 Federer is providing much resistance to Djokovic than any other top 10 player(see the no. of final between Djoko and Federer). Andy Murray has been completely washed by Djokovic couple of time. Federer is no. 3 because is playing lesser matches than Murray.

I just want to point out that half of the player in the top 10 rankings in 2015 were playing good tennis in 2006 also and they turned pro in 2002 or earlier. so its cannot said that top 10 2015 list is more competitive or it has better players than in 2006. Level of Tennis as a whole has gone up because of technology and evolution but Federer is still on among the best.
Berdych, Gasquest, Wawrinka, Tsonga(i should better not include him as he turned pro in 2004 but still).

I believe Federer's season is better. Both players were superior to the others. Federer in 2015 beat Djokovic a couple of times and was one of the few who generally posed a challenge for him without being on his prime. Also Federer in 2006 played more matches, lost fewer matches, played in masters finals which at the time were best of 5, so based on that he needed to be more physically ready to get through the season. In addition to that, 4 of his 5 losses were in a clay final and he was beaten by the greatest clay player of all time who evidently was in top form (not his prime but still top form and in 2015 he was not in top form). That being said, they both had great competition and both are legends, but I believe that Federer 2006 has the edge on Djokovic 2015.
