Serbia's protest note references fascist Croat WW2 entity

Serbia have done what they didn't do in the 1990s and play the media game. They're the darlings of the refugee crisis as a result.

I think only a small percentage of people in the UK have heard of the Ustasha, but Serbia's comments have made the front page of the BBC website, so more now do.

May make some people not judge Serbs by their actions in the 1990s alone.

I do think Croatia could have handled it better, and should have.
However, why does Serbia think that when they bring up WWII people will flock to support them?
Serbia has tried this before and it didn't work.
And then they're shocked when people don't gasp in astonishment. Naturally this leads to talk about an alleged world wide conspiracy against Serbia.

Especially from a nation that started 4 wars in the Balkans.
Serbia is blatantly facilitating illegal border crossings (or helping people break the law). So it has no right to get offended when Croatia reacts.
Yet again Serbia began this dispute, just like they began most of the trouble in the Balkans trying to carve out a greater serbia.
They need to stop lying to themselves and everybody else. It's time serbia faced the truth and started acting like a real country... and not a failed state.

There are no such things as illegal border crossings. You have no more borders now that you are a part of the EU. This organization you have joined believes in the complete freedom of movement for goods, services AND people. So now live with it. These people came to Serbia and now they are travelling through Croatia to their intended destinations. Stop being a fascist state and start embracing EU values!

I totally agree with you and I can explain why it doesn’t work. Serbia’s mistake is that they phone to Gay Magazine and complain at the Pride Parades ! Same with the WW2 where 90% of Europe fought on the Nazi side and only 3 states Britain, Serbia and the USSR on the other side. USSR saved Poland from Nurnberg Tribunal and so did Yugoslavia for the Croats, the USA for France ect. Out of 3 European real members of the Anti-Hitler Coalition Britain is not in a Serbian mood today. So there’s only Russia who can accept Serbian arguments. Complaining to EU is simply stupid as Croatia will sooner find support for WW2 there.

There is such a thing as illegally crossing a border.
And even if we use your warped understanding of how the world works then crossing from a non-EU member state into an EU member state where there is no official border crossing constitutes a violation of law.

Listen American guy, you seem to have some confusion about the EU. Not every EU state uses the Euro or has open borders, especially the newest member of the EU, Croatia. Have you never been to Europe? Perhaps it's best you speak about American politics and stay away from the European stuff you don't know much about.

If Serbia would only redirect these Muslims in the direction of Bulgaria or Romania the border problem would not be an issue. Serbia being as selfish as it has always been wants to once again pick a fight with its neighbour. You're confusing the EU with the Schengen Zone which Croatia isn't apart of but I wouldn't expect someone of your intellect and ignorance to know this. Also Serbia is outside of the EU, therefore when one enters Croatia from Serbia, you are entering the EU.

You seem to have forgotten the Greeks, but I will forgive you. You bring an interesting comparison, but it appears more and more that the US and Britain are becoming fascist states as well.

The US also played a large role in protecting many Ustasha and Nazi's after WWII along with the Vatican across various "ratlines". Most notably, Father Draganovic who still lives in freedom in Canada.

Its bizarre on the one hand they are prosecuting Nazi's at the Nuremburg trials and on the other hand protecting high level Nazi sympathizers and murderers.

In early 19 century some of your lands were under the French rule some under the Austrians and some under the Turks. So the first time Croats enjoyed independence was in 1991.
