Thaci announces session on KLA court for next week

I think it's time to stop this endless comedy. Who with a sane mind would really have expected the former KLA politicians voting for establishing a court investigating in KLA war crimes? This is more than absurd. There should have been established an international court, like the ICTY, for the KLA war crimes, at least ten years ago. This would have better for everyone, I think Kosovo would have made much more progress without these shady elements in politics who would have been behind bards.

Forming it now is not much more than an alibi, and even that is obstructed by Thaci's and Haradinaj's clan mates.

So you think with all the crimes committed in the FRY, and the fact that the one common element throughout has been Serbia. That there should have been a tribunal called ICTY do deal with all crimes, but there should have been a special court set up to deal with crimes by Albanians???? If such a court becomes a reality and it determines there were some crimes committed by KLA and some are punished maybe in the ratio of Serbs who were punished versus the number of crimes, you will be happy? Because you do realize that the rate of punishment for Serb crimes is somewhere less than 1% of the incidents, don't you.
You like so many Serbs believe any criminal act against a Serb is 100 times more serious than the same crime committed against anyone else.

Forming it now is not much more than an alibi, and even that is obstructed by Thaci's and Haradinaj's clan mates.

I have to wonder about your statement. alibi is not exactly the proper word but I still get your meaning. But I would like for you to explain HOW the Kosovo parliament approving an international court that would use solely international judges, international prosecutors, international investigators and be held in a foreign country could be considered an alibi or cover?
They would be agreeing to a court using Kosovo laws but in no way would be under Kosovo jurisdiction.

This would have better for everyone, I think Kosovo would have made much more progress without these shady elements in politics who would have been behind bards.

I agree these are not the leaders that will bring Kosovo into the modern world. They were instrumental in the warfare with Serbia and they are considered heroes as they were the main reason Kosovo is free. Before someone jumps on the bandwagon of it was the west that made the difference, that is true but the west would have never gotten involved if not persuaded by the resistance of the KLA.
Now Haradinaj had his day in court, Thaci was never indicted, the same as many, many Serbians who have blood on their hands.
I am against a special court supposedly for KLA crimes, as I would be against a special court for Serbian crimes(there are a lot left to investigate and prosecute) I would however be for a special court for the Kosovo War vs the ICTY or a continuation of the ICTY with directives to focus on crimes committed in Kosovo.

Your "accurate" article reminds me of an instance in Texas about 20 years ago. A group home (for mentally challenged adults) was opened in a small community in a small Texas town and it was not received well by the local residents. There were protests, letters written, vandalism to the house and several of the residents were abused by groups if they were caught outside.
Then one day the police discovered one of the residents hanging from a tree in the yard and the investigators quickly ruled the death an accident as they claimed the resident was performing an autoerotic act where one asphyxiates himself while giving himself pleasure. That was until someone called for an investigation from state authorities as they did not believe the explanation. The problem they saw was that the resident also had his feet tied and his hands tied behind his back.

Now someone who might still believe this was an accidental death, might possibly believe your article.
