Dodik's statement adds more political weight to the Srebrenica story, but as Sam Johnson said, "Tis not in growing like a tree, in girth, doth make man better be." A lie is a lie, no matter how fat, and Srebrenica is a hoax of stunning dimensions. It was first suggested by Vatican operative Tadeusz Mazowiecki, who worked closely with Tudjman in Croatia. It was initially used to silence outrage at the Croatian neo-Ustashe's eviction of 300,000 Serbians and 50,000 Muslim political refugees from Krajina, with many thousands murdered. It was developed and broadcast for several reasons: to falsely blame destruction of Yugoslavia on the Serbians; to obscure the clerical fascist genocide of Jasenovac, which points to the key Vatican role in the Holocaust; to continue preventing outrage over or even awareness of the destruction of Krajina, which was in fact "the worst genocide in Europe since World War II"; to alter political discourse, defining right and left not by where one stands on class, racism, equality, clerical fascism, defense of multi-national societies, etc., but on how one views Islam, with Muslims as a category enshrined as the new oppressed. Srebrenica is a lie that does terrible harm not only to the Serbian people, and to the possibility of reuniting the peoples of Yugoslavia, but to the entire world, for example by seeming to justify Islamism, that nightmare for most people, including most Muslims. How unfortunate that Mr. Dodik feels compelled to embrace it.
