No, sorry. MEP's have literally no power. They debate laws that are passed down from the totalitarian EU commission and 3/4 of all the groups in parliament are made up of parties who rubber stamp them just like in the Soviet times.

But the EU commissioners are approved by the MEPs :) And in most of countries the proposed laws come down to the parliament from the goverment (i.e. the EU commission equivalent). You can spin however you want mate, it still comes down to the MEPs and the EU legislative process is very similar to most countries with a bicameral parliament.

I understand that's not in accordance with your wishes, but unfortunately we can't change facts to make you happy.

Once again the CTC has shown us the power of its intellectual powers by reading the EU diatribe on the internet and swallowing it hook line and sinker. What a simpleton. Perhaps if I brought shiny beads its house I can trade them for his land. Little does it know that the MPs have no power and spent time on committees whose conclusions are only implemented if they fall into line EU policy approved by bureaucrats?
The EU parliament is a resting place for political hacks and nothing more.
P.S. CTC = Chief Toilet Cleaner

Then there are exceptions and people who fight for liberty like Mr. Carver in the link I provided and his group the EFDD.

"In his reaction, the Serbian president said that the pressure exerted on him to make a decision that is not in the interest of the citizens of Serbia was "in vain.""

Oh dear, here is the drama queen again! Heroic Serbs resisting foreigners lol

The EU's MEP's are the only democratically elected "officials" in the EU. That's also why they have no actual power. They can't enact any laws or amend them, they just "debate" them.

You really can't resist showing how ignorant you are. MEPs have the same power as any MPs in a country with a bicameral parliament. The US House of Representatives cannot enact or amend any laws; it can only do it if the US Senate agrees as well, and vice versa. The same goes for the European Parliament; it can only enact or amend laws if the Council of the EU agrees as well, and vice versa. So the European Parliament and the Council (both elected by EU citizens directly or indirectly) have real powers to enact and amend laws.

In that case you should stop will your so-called new plans about Kosovo because we don't care about your plans. Now you know how we feel about your plans. As a matter of fact your plans might get people mad and make them do stuff you won't like.

So trying to subjugate a country whose gov't is completely invested in the EU path is the only thing people like Kukan can do with their lives. Otherwise, they have to sit there in Strasbourg, collect their ridiculously high salaries and act as puppets of the EU commission.

Unless you're someone like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9wjGFi1Cjw Hey Carver, it's too late man. The EU isn't turning Serbia into an EU colony, they already have. A very long time ago.
