Has Obama got any moral authority to accuse Putin for wrong doings? The biggest menace to the World since world war II is the United States of America. No other country can come close to the number of kills/murder of innocent civilians as the USA. He should’ve been utterly ashamed for recently comparing the Crimea with Iraq. In the former there was hardly any deaths whereas in the latter there were more than 1 miilion people deaths and 7 million displaced-not to mention the fact the country has been bombed with phosphorous munitions into stone age.

Putin may not be a nice man but he's the smartest leader around and the leader that Russia probably needs.Those who may blather on about lack of democracy, freedom of the press, etc. in Russia might consider the growing lack of 'freedom' in the West. Between CCTV, personal and vehicle tracking by GPS, internet/phone spying by governments, appalling indignities inflicted on all trying to fly anywhere, there is little 'freedom' left to brag about.Anyone who cautioned against upsetting the status quo in countries which we would regard as less than democratic on the basis of "better the devil you know" deserves some acknowledgement for perspicacity.

The oil crises was not manipulated by the west. Yes it took credit for the manipulation, but it was not responsible. In fact it was Saudi Arabia and it had nothing to do with Russia. The US is self sufficient in gas (fraking) and oil (shale)so the Saudis want a return to relient US on their oil and gas thus the overproduction, all in aid of bankrupting these gas and oil producers.
These producers have borrowed heavily and there is some $70 trillion in loans from western banks. It takes more money to produce gas (fraking) and shale oil so these US companies rely on high prices to make a profit and repay debt. One by one they are in trouble and looks like triggering a second GFC but this time with the banks.
I find it so humorous that Obama talks about a vulnerable Russian economy but why is Japan in recession now? Also Germany and Australia are on the edge. Has Washington placed sanctions on Japan, Germany and Australia? But the best part is that sanctions prohibit western banks lending Russia money. But here is the bad news for Washington 90% of the world does not have sanctions against Russia and there is plenty money in Asia.
Another most important point, China supports Russia so guess who is winning? The US with its 130% of GDP (and rising) debt or Russia?

Sure, they would gladly celebrate a decline of the value of their currency by almost 50% in one year, a glorious inflation of 10% (which will be more like 25 next year, I guess) and a projected (by Russian ministers, btw) economic decline of 5-10% next year.

When they flew in an commandeered the Pristina airport to save Kosovo for Serbia, only to abandoned it days later because they could not afford to feed the few troops there. Then a few weeks later voted in the UNSC to not only force the Serb withdrawal from Kosovo but to also strip Serbia of all political, economical, and military control over Kosovo. A vote to make it where Serbian govt officials must ask permission to visit their "heart".

When they flew in an commandeered the Pristina airport to save Kosovo for Serbia, only to abandoned it days later because they could not afford to feed the few troops there. Then a few weeks later voted in the UNSC to not only force the Serb withdrawal from Kosovo but to also strip Serbia of all political, economical, and military control over Kosovo. The oil crises was not manipulated by the west. Yes it took credit for the manipulation, but it was not responsible. In fact it was Saudi Arabia and it had nothing to do with Russia. The US is self sufficient in gas (fraking) and oil (shale)so the Saudis want a return to relient US on their oil and gas thus the overproduction, all in aid of bankrupting these gas and oil producers.
These producers have borrowed heavily and there is some $70 trillion in loans from western banks. It takes more money to produce gas (fraking) and shale oil so these US companies rely on high prices to make a profit and repay debt. One by one they are in trouble and looks like triggering a second GFC but this time with the banks.
I find it so humorous that Obama talks about a vulnerable Russian economy but why is Japan in recession now? Also Germany and Australia are on the edge. Has Washington placed sanctions on Japan, Germany and Australia? But the best part is that sanctions prohibit western banks lending Russia money. But here is the bad news for Washington 90% of the world does not have sanctions against Russia and there is plenty money in Asia.
Another most important point, China supports Russia so guess who is winning? The US with its 130% of GDP (and rising) debt or Russia?
