Kosova is not only an independent state but it will recieve the greatest military training the Balkans has ever seen. Its called NATO. Every country in the region that has no Serbian influence seems to be progressing in right direction.

I was in Kosovo and I saw the new army General in Pristina markets whom placed an order for 1,500 new morden DONKEYS.The problem is they are so HIGH TECH they will not be in service until 2050.So the General decided to get second hand DONKEYS from Albania, they will arrive in Kosovo in early 2045.

It is no secret(or should not be) that any army in Kosovo will be a minimum security force. It will not have any type of aggressive capabilities in the near future. But it does not have to be strong as there will be a NATO presence there for many years to come. The development of an army also leaves an excuse for NATO troops to remain in Kosovo as trainers should res 1244 somehow disappear.
As far as equipment, this will come as donations of excess equipment of supporting nation, similar to the arrangement in Serbia. They too will be stretched for money, as Serbia had to have donations of batteries for their aircraft from Russia to actually get an air force in the air.
Would a battle between Serbia and Kosovo without help be feasible, I don't think anyone believes it would be, but that will never be an issue.
Like you love to say this is not the 1990's anymore and there will be no Serbian invasion anywhere that is not met with multinational forces.

Serbs segregated women from men in a town called Srebrenica. Unarmed boys over the age of 10 along with men below the age of 65 were shot execution style and exterminated! That is a fact! Similar attrocities occured in Kosova which has a population unprepared to fight. boys, men killed and girls mothers, even grandmothers raped. You Serbians can vote now: who are men and who are cowards or are you too ignorant to accepted the facts along with the rest of the world?

If Kosovo has an army then I hope they bring in conscription because Ivica Dacic will be called in to serve in the UCK because our good friend Ivica was born in Prizren.

President nikolic of Serbia said Serbia will have no objections to Kosovo army as long as Serbs can have its own units like he police is set up. Serbia has been a leader in supporting a Kosovo army.

It is no secret(or should not be) that any army in Kosovo will be a minimum security force. It will not have any type of aggressive capabilities in the near future. But it does not have to be strong as there will be a NATO presence there for many years to come. The development of an army also leaves an excuse for NATO troops to remain in Kosovo as trainers should res 1244 somehow disappear.
As far as equipment, this will come as donations of excess equipment of supporting nation, similar to the arrangement in Serbia. They too will be stretched for money, as Serbia had to have donations of batteries for their aircraft from Russia to actually get an air force in the air.
Would a battle between Serbia and Kosovo without help be feasible, I don't think anyone believes it would be, but that will never be an issue.
Like you love to say this is not the 1990's anymore and there will be no Serbian invasion anywhere that is not met with multinational forces.

Kosovo with a 49% unemployment does not sound so bad after all you have been telling us for years now that the US unemployment rate is 29-30%.
How much equipment do you think a 5000 man army would need. Tanks, aircraft, personnel carriers. You forgot aircraft carriers, cruise missles, submarines etc.
Like I said, it is no secret any military in Kosovo will rely on donations just like Serbia.
