WHY?

They traveled as "private citizens", so this means the Russian NGO could have chosen any non MP Serb private citizen to serve as an observer. The janitor of a high school in Belgrade for example. The fact that they are MPs does not have anything to do with it. Or does it?!?! Their full travel expenses were paid by the Russian NGO and most likely their private bank accounts too got some generous per diems. They have mouths to feed at home, a man needs to provide for his family and wife. That is probably why he is saying he is only accountable to his wife (and not to the people that elected him, this last one is my own addition). LOL, the good old Serbian arrogance.

Judging by hysterical Otporista´s and US remote controlled NGO:ers comments like comm. parison et all,

These are all good signs of awakening from the go-along-with-NATO-zombie sleep-walking-quisling-cult, a road that eventually start the process of Serbian liberation.

Bon Voyage!

"Russia who does not recognise the indepence of Kosovo (for Serbia's sake) while standing behind and accepting the (illegal) election results and break-away of Donetsk and Lugansk from the Ukraine. "

This must be the Russian interpretation of a 'principled stance' when it comes to territorial integrity and sovereignty of states vs. ethnic minorities who declare their independence. At least Serbian politicians (officially) have a different opinion, only the funny Mr. Dodik of Republika Srpska thinks these Russian minorities have the right of independence and the 'reunification' of Crimea with (or annexation of by) Russia was all legal and valid, while Kosovo's declaration independence is of course illegal and invalid.

"Opposition Democratic Party (DS) official Borislav Stefanović says he wants to know why two MPs from the ruling SNS party served as observers in Ukraine. "

Why not? There have been politicians from right-wing extremists parties from several countries as observers in these 'elections'. So they were in good company.

"Head of the SNS group in parliament Zoran Babić said that Đukanović and Blažić traveled to Donetsk as private citizens, not as deputies."

This is normal, like the Russian soldiers traveled to Ukraine in their tanks during their 'holidays'.

All good questions.
I have one of my own.
Why were Vladimir Đukanović and Branislav Blažić election observers in Donetsk when the Serbian government has proclaimed that it recognises the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, especially while the secession of the regions of the Ukrainian republics of Donetsk and Lugansk is comparable with that of the unilateral declaration of indepence of Kosovo?

Also: When will Serbia stop sucking up to Russia? Russia who does not recognise the indepence of Kosovo (for Serbia's sake) while standing behind and accepting the (illegal) election results and break-away of Donetsk and Lugansk from the Ukraine.

Russia is behaving hypocritical and it has shown to apply different values to exactly the same situations.

As poroshenko said; "it (this election) is a farce" and Serbia, or at least Đukanović and Blažić, are in my opinion acting irresponsible.
