Hey, once we start incarcerating Roma and coming up with all sorts of laws to keep African migrants and other asylum seekers out of our country perhaps yes, we too can become as civilized as the gay-friendly West.

More threats and violence. How familiar to this body here that was conceived in threats and violence and became synonymous with violence.
There are two problems with violence. The initial problem is hurting another living being--another of God's children, just like you. Causing them and their loved ones pain and suffering, not to mention costs associated with medical expenses and temporary loss of productivity. The second problem is the anger, hatred, resentment, desire for revenge etc. that is generally the response of the person you attacked. And that second problem doesn't heal like bodily injuries do, but rather foments and is often acted out in more violence in the form of revenge, retribution, punishment--in general, the eye for an eye mentality. Y'all see the vicious cycle of violence it puts in motion?
So, not only does violence not resolve conflict, but in fact it perpetuates more. Isn't it clear then that y'all should
