The incident has nothing to do with Serbs. Because of the Russian support for Armenia Azerbaijan became one of the most aggressive Russophobes. But because Serbia is understood here as a Russian ally the stones were addressed to Russia. For Russia Azerbaijan is a small problem but 3 weeks ago USA tried to launch a new Armenian-Azerbaijan war. Putin brought them to Sochi and stopped the war. In the clashes Azerbaijani lost 19 against 1 and only one was lost on the Armenian side. So the incident was the first chance of the Azerbaijanis to avenge the Russian camp.
