Air Serbia "to break even by end of year"

The Air Serbia carrier expects to break even at the end of this year and have its business at "a positive zero", said Director Dane Korica.

The only reason Air Serbia is starting to break even is that a foreign company assumed control of it and the government assumed the debt. One seasonal flight to the Croatian coast (that, by the way, a lot of Croats use to transfer to flights to Australia and the near-east) has nothing to do with it. Hilarious if you actually believe that.

Croatian Airlines is in a similar position to what Air Serbia was in a few years ago - broke, laden with too many employees and difficult unions, political corruption, on sale but no one wants to even look at the offer. Croatian Airlines missed a lot of opportunities in the last years and the future isn't looking good for them
