Maybe, a good old Crimean style referendum would help the "Duke" figure out what the citizens of Montenegro really want. Chances are that a large majority would opt for uniting with the rest of Serbia, now Republika Serpska will be the piece that finally completes the puzzle, Serbija Veilka ]]]]

icj Koosovo is still part of Serbia according to the UN so I'm not sure what your point is other than a political one.

How quickly we forget, but let me remind you that due to the insistence of YOUR govt, the UN is "status neutral" which means the UN does not refer to Kosovo as independent NOR as a province of Serbia. This is due primarily to the exhaustive efforts of Jeremic.

Montenegro has not only turned their back on Serbia, but also Russia now, and it has no shame, dignity, respect or even an ounce of honor left.

Well, Montenegro is playing smart and considering its interests first... The events in Ukraine show how dangerous is to be a "Slavic" brother of Russia and how much Russia cares about "Slavic brotherhood"!

But Serbia is more than welcome to support Russia's interests before its own interests, even when Russia's arguments (like those regarding Ukraine) are in clear conflict with Serbia's national interests (assuming that Serbia's national interest is to return Kosovo under Serbia).

I truly hope that Russians in Montenegro, and those thinking of investing, slowly sell-off their investments and properties and repatriate their assets to more friendlier jurisdictions. Montenegro has not only turned their back on Serbia, but also Russia now, and it has no shame, dignity, respect or even an ounce of honor left.

Russian spend and invest a LOT of money in Montenegro and most Montenegrin citizens are more PRO Russia than PRO US, probably to the tune of 65% vs 35%. Its no secret that the only reason Mr. Djukanovic has been in power for over 20 years is merely because he was HAND PICKED to flip from Milosevic's camp and side against Serbia by rigging elections such as the referendum for Montenegro's separation from Serbia (S&M). I think it would be very easy for Russia to simply finance a PRO Russia, PRO Serbia political party in Montenegro that would GLADLY leave NATO and possibly even the EU. Never know... it may even start a domino effect leading all NATO / EU members who's people are actually AGAINST military alliances (such as Nato) or against EU austerity programs. People are sick and tired of living in never ending slave style debt to the benefit of European MASTER states such as Germany. Think of it as a small snowball (Montenegro or Serbia) rolling down a mountain and end up turning into a huge AVALANCHE.

Remember, where there is a way, there is a way.
