what does Croatia have to gain by "using bilateral issues"? the "issues" have nothing to do with Serbia's entry into the EU...and what does Croatia think will benefit relations...to "hold them back" or to welcome Serbia to the "Western World"?

many in Serbia oppose the EU, there are several steps that have to be taken before entry will be accepted, as a Croat, I welcome Serbia to move forward and take the necessary steps...I'm glad to see Croatia won't be immature as Slovenija was with us!

"this is why Croatia has succeeded more than any other nation in Balkans"

Excellent analysis, very much linked with reality. Supported also by adequate justification.

Well...albanians should feel free to visit their dream country. Hopefully they will stay there for good.

Fact of the matter is Croatia has handled Serbia just the way Kosova, Bosnia, and Slovenia should have as well. Put Serbia on notice, and let the world know how deceiving Serbia can be. Were all catching up with it, but Croatia has done a superb job when it comes to showing Serbia they no longer have political influence over smaller countries in Balkan.
If any of you misunderstood my first comment then that's on you. I stand by what I said, and that is we former Yugoslav nations should follow Croatia's lead when it comes to dealing with a nation(serbia) that has deceived the world for centuries. You Serbians want to play the victim role all the time, to be honest the world has already seen the brutality, crimes, genocides, and rape you have committed on your neighbors. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to inform others about Serbia and their behavior towards their neighbors. I am sure Bosnians and Croatians also have done, and will continue to alert everyone else about Serbia. This is not because we hate you, it is only right everyone else gets to know what your government is truly about, and what it has been about for many past centuries. I do not generalize the entire Serbian population with what I said, that only applies to your government and those who support it.

Please do Serbia a big favour Croatia and block their membership of the fourth Reich! I expect the only reason croatia won't block you is because they are realising its not the utopia they thought and they want you to go down with them!

We should all follow Croatia's lead when it comes to dealing with Serbs. Croatians seem to know what needs to be done when dealing with Serbians, and this is why Croatia has succeeded more than any other nation in Balkans.

Perhaps the Albanians living in Serbia who are unhappy should move to Croatia. In fact, because a majority population in certain regions of Croatia and then demand to put your flags on their government buildings, have Albanian language only schools, and autonomy to run it the way you want. I'm sure Croatia will gladly entertain you ;)
