Ned Taylor : As an Englishman please do not speak for me or any other Serbian as to what we want. You are an outsider, keep your nose out, and you have no idea what we want. I will tell you this, and you can bank on it. RS is Serbia. It is the same, and there is no difference. The border on the Drina is fake, and will be eventually removed, you can be sure of that.
Cheers!!

Ivan: You may want to become part of Serbia but they don't want YOU. Furthermore, Dodik has made it clear that he wants independence not joining with the 'motherland'. He wants to remain the big cheese! The answer to your question is 'drinking beer', mostly Nektar you'll be pleased to hear.

a)Ari made a point. and he's right. comments are just a comment. its up to the reader to decipher between real(Ari Gold) and whack jobs(Bam Bam).
b)We Serbs in Republika Srpska don't want independence. We want unification. We're still pissed 20 yrs later at our country being carved up by traitors. and unification with brothers.
c)its expensive to move all my dirt to Serbia if id pick up and go, itll probably be cheaper for me to dig a trench around the federation and tow them out to sea, that's another peaceful way of separation.Heck with the scotish vote coming up I can tow them there and snap up gibraltor while im at it. Make that island a little bigger.
d)what is an Englishmen doing in Bosna anyway?

Wow,how bad must he feel knowing that even the veterans of RS are protesting. There was one who said that he could not believe the stupidity of so many others in thinking that this is some kind of conspiracy to overthrow the serbian entity in Bosnia.Come's to show the true unraveling nature of such a putrid ideology as ethnic nationalism. The Balkans wont be at peace until this ideological virus is justly eradicated. Strange, isnt it?That odd moment when one figures out that your enemy is not your neighbour who is of a different religion, ethnicity, skin colour or whatever, indeed not any specific individuals at all,but a system that forces citizens to love in utter squalor.Maby Dodik,Izetbegovic, and the rest are indeed surprised at the events, perhaps not neccesarily from any moral standpoint in that they would ask themselves:"ohh, how can they choose their childrens economic future and wellbeing over their ethnic loyalties!?"

But rather they are probably asking themselves:"How could this happen!? I thought we had these swinish multitudes nicely brainwashed with hating each other, damn, now they are actually protesting about issues that actually matter in real life!,I better put up my best performance yet if i want to stay in power..."

Ari- a) I made no mention of Kosovo and you are a poor mind reader b) you guessed my nationality wrong too c) had you paid any attention to my previous comments, some of which were answers to your posts, you will remember that I am British not German. My point to young Ivan was that the only way Serbs are going to be leaving Bosnia is physically, as there will be no independence for the RS. I have no idea why you chose to rant on in such an irrelevant way; perhaps you had a bad day.

Ivan: The Serbs are free to leave Bosnia as peacefully as they wish; by car, bus, train, plane or on foot :-). Personally I hope they choose not to do so as I like them very much as I do the Croats and the Bosniaks.
(ned taylor, 25 February 2014 23:14)

Oh yea, you like them very much which is why you equated your nations crimes in WWII (if in fact you are really German, many Albanians pose as Westerners on here for some odd reason), with Serbia's role in the Yugoslav Wars. That is the most blatant act of Serbian racism and saying you 'like' Serbs says nothing really. So let's get this straight, you as a supporter of the occupation in Kosovo i Metohija does not feel that Albanians should just "leave", but Serbs which take up 50% of Bosnia should leave if they don't want to be apart of the country?!

The thing is, its not even Serbs who are calling for changes to the current system, but the Bosniaks. They realized they pretty much lost the war and it took them this long to understand that. Well ok, but if there are continued calls for dismantling RS then RS will have to go its own way. You say that far too much money has been spent by international actors to allow it to split up, but eventually these same actors will have to cut their losses because otherwise, more money will be poured into this failed project.

This is what the Serbs were saying about Krajina ( Its a sure thing ). It ended up turning to dust. If RS thinks it can just walk away without a fight well think again. Dodik will need to fight for his his independence just like everyone else had to in the Balkans. I guarantee the Serbs wont win their freedom when your 99% encircled by your enemies. Does Dodik really want to be the man who wipes out Serbianism from BiH.
(Bam Bam, 25 February 2014 04:42)

Last time I was in Croatia I was reading cyrilic signs. So Krajina isn't dust. And we'd prefer a peacefull separation, but if not we'll spank u again. Don't forget it was Nato, not croats or bosniaks(aka catholic and muslim slavs)who brought us to the negotiating table. Not all Balkan countries separated violently either, Crna Gora, FYROM and Slovenia(to sum extent). Let Me give u a free geography lesson, Republika Srpska borders Serbia and Montenegro. So I don't think we're 99% encircled more like 50-60%.
why do u people want serbs in bosnia anyway?,when its obvious u blame us for everything, let us leave peacefully and that's that. I mean we don't even speak the same language, u guys speak Bosnian and Croatian and we speak Serbian, no language connection either lol. Have fun hating bam bam.

I don't like to defend Mr Dodik, but he was a successful businessman before coming to power in the RS, although he may have added to his wealth whilst PM and then President. He never misses an opportunity to say how wonderful the RS is compared to the Federation so let's see what the voters say in October. As for independence, he has no support from Serbia for this particular route and even if he had, there are larger powers who have invested too much time and money in Bosnia to see it split apart. He can be king of his own castle for as long as the voters re-elect him and I suspect that deep down he is happy with that, despite the look on his face in the B92 photo!!

Dodik also said he agreed with Koštunica that the Serb people needed to act together, and that the preservation of Serbia and the RS was also necessary "as the basic values of the Serb people," which, he said, was "fictitiously divided with a border, but lives the same cultural and value system." Ya what is that Serb value system a criminal one. Murder ,rape ,pilage ,ethnik cleanse ,destroy etc others unarmed countrys and homes. The Drina river is the border between Serbia and Bosnia and allways was idiots. Serbs never learn pity only make enemies.
