Have the Serbs just once thought about the victims in Srebrenica. The innocent children who were gunned down point blank and video taped for drunken chetniks to enjoy viewing after Orthodox Christmas lunch.

Yes they have thats why the perpetrators were sentenced unlike croats and albanians that celebrates "heroes" that slaughtered and murderered serb civilians. Can you show me an example of an albanian or croat that you have sentenced to prison for murdering serbs?

Actually I meant to say son not daughter cause Medic doesn't have a daughter after realizing that I partly misread the article but it still stands that if Mr Medic is "bad rubbish" than good riddance to him. That's how the expression goes "Good riddance to bad rubbish" so either way whether Mr Medic perished in a vehicular accident or were to die of natural causes either way he's gonna meet his maker and answer for his deeds or misdeeds.

Why doesn't the government of Serbia free all prisoners from Serbian jails and fly them to the Bahamas for the weekend where they can lounge around the beach, soak up some sun and order cocktails on Nikolic's account. I want to make it clear that I'm not harboring any ill will towards Slobodan Medic's wife and daughter but I will say that for all we can speculate but perhaps (just perhaps)Mr Medic's death could be a punishment from God so therefore if God is punishing him (unless Medic was sincerely remorseful) his punishment is more serious than punishment inflicted by the authorities

wonder where he and his family will live out their new lives, shame we will never know who was really killed in the accident IF there was an accident at all.
And people wonder why the Hague is not stupid enough to allow Serbs to serve their sentences in Serbia.

Yes. As long as psycho docs say that there is no danger that he's committing the same crime again during the holidays - which is unlikely for a convicted war criminal.

A monster that got what he deserved, sorry for his wife and daughter though they were innocent. By the way every prisoner in Serbia can be granted time off during holidays and weekends as long as you behave in prison. The same rules apply allower the world for incarcarated and is nothing that is only happening in Serbia. Nothing strange with that at all.

A criminal whose committed crimes severe enough that even a Serbian court sent him for 20 years to prison is allowed to go home for a weekend?

Now he can be with his family as long as he wants. Of course I agree with others when they say somebody else needs to verify his death. Serbs can't be trusted.

'The daily said that Medić was on his way back to prison when he died in the accident. According to this, he had been granted "weekend leave" by the prison authorities.'

He was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2007.

Wow! A war criminal convicted & sentenced to 20 years in prison for participating in ehtnic cleansing & genocide against innocent civilians, out relaxing with his family on weekend leave???
And Serbia has the nerve to request that Seselj & other war criminals be transferred to Serbia to serve their prison sentences? You've got to be kidding!!! Serbia, should transfer the body of this war criminal to a appropriate EU forensic's team, so that the appropriate DNA tests can be performed to make sure it indeed is the war criminal mentioned, that finally lost his life!!! Serbia, may be up to her old treacherous & deceiving ways yet again! I have no remorse for these individuals, that commit these evil acts, the sooner they parish the sooner the civilized world will be better off!!!

Do you believe this?

Make sure the id of the criminal is independently verified.

Why should he be out of jail anyway? Ridiculous concept given the length of the sentence.

There should be an enquiry - something is wrong with the system.
