Every serb in Kosovo must know because the election are organized by Pristina if they vote they are recognizing Kosovo independence. The parties in Kosovo, pristina runs the elections, the community of serb municipalities in an pristina albanian run institution because it is all under pristina law! This is serbs recognizing Kosovo independence from Serbia and saying Kosovo is an independent nation if they vote! Serbia and Belgrade has nothing to do with this! the DSS is the only party in Serbia that opposed Kosovo independence now! Dacic appointed dejan pavicevic serbias ambassadors to Kosovo. Of course south Kosovo serbs will vote because if they don't they lose nato protection and the KLA will kill them. North Kosovo serbs know if they vote they are recognizing Kosovo independence.

Parties who lost the elections promised to be constructive, and not destructive opposition. If we listened to all of DSS’s suggestions and ideas, we would be heading back to the ’99.

But according to the DSS itself, Kosovo is Serbia and therefore Kosovo's Parliament is Serbian Parliament and, as a result, the elections called by Kosovo's Parliament are legitimate per DSS' own admission. :)

One of the most catastrophic, tragic periods in Serb history is taking place.
Corrupt, ignorant, cowardly and/or treasonous Belgrade political majority is instrumental in yielding about 1/8 of already small Serbia territory.
Acquiescing to enslave, 1 to 200,000 Kosovo's Serbs, under bona-fide genocidal, virulently anti-Serb albanian population.
Finally the raison for Kosovo debacle is Western, mostly GERMAN great need for row materials. Trepca is
giant mining-industrial complex (lead, tin,copper,platinum, silver, gold ect.) estimated today at 5 billion american dollars. Inestimable value of existing and potential natural resources is raison for grab and theft of enormous Serbian wealth (billions) in Kosovo.
Sadly, great powers decide destinies of small, helpless, defenseless countries like Serbia.

Why stop there why not list all the myths that you Serbs put out there in denial that this was an intervention to prevent thousands if not hundreds of thousands of innocent people from being slaughtered.
To create the largest US military base in Kosovo
To create a NATO state
To protect the Nambucco pipeline
To preserve the Heroin route to Europe
For the Lignite deposits
and my favorite
The whole world hates Serbs.

If any of these were the REAL reason, the Kosovo issue would have been finished years ago when the west was making all the decisions and Russia was weak.
If any of these were the true goal we would not be having Belgrade-Pristina talks in 2013.
Milosevic claimed he was a fair man too.

Yeah ok, but what will happen if Serbs ignore the elections? Well, then one of those infamous Thaci's Serbs will come with an armed force in Northern Kosovo. That's not something we want to happen. And i think Serbs understand that.
