Not that meetings with terrorists should have ever been on the cards, but you guys got nothing. You Serbs marketing this.. If there is a agreement why on earth would you need the army to be present In North of Kosovo? If there was no agreement or if the agreement is In breach then when you need the army forces present to protect the soverenity.
western armys all they need to do is intervene if there is a disasters happened. Which I hope there would not be one, but, if then I am sure people from north will appreciate to get help..

What Kosovo loses is temporary, what Serbia loses is forever.

Kosovo military can enter North Kosovo in the same way that Serbian military can enter Kosovo acording to UN resolution 12 444 signed in 1999. In translation neither Kosovo or Serbian military will be alowed to enter by other side and NATO. There will be only serbian speaking police in North Kosovo.

The KLA are left without a UN seat and access to Mitrovica. I'd take that as a win all things considered. Not that meetings with terrorists should have ever been on the cards, but you guys got nothing. And just as I called it last time, don't be surprised if you see Thaci come home to unhappy campers in Pristina!

Ari,

No partition Of Kosova, which means the Kosova Gov't (the KLA as you like to call them) will be in charge of all police throughout Kosova. It also means Thaci will appoint all police in the North as well as in the South. They all work for the Republic of Kosova and are paid only by Thaci's gov't. For that you should be happy, since Serb employees of the Kosova Gov't will now be paid in Euros rather than worthless dinars. That sure sounds like another victory for the KLA. I guess, by now, you know who is Boss.

Glad to see that Serbs here are in iluzion that NATO will be a tool in their side and it will not give the KSF the green light to go anywhere in northern Mitro.... but hey if the pigs fly for you that's fine with as Albanians.

If I were Serbian official I'd hand the draft to the most suspicious minded, most distrustful person for reading, and myself I'd read with a microscope. First thing to raise question is the strange talk of time limits set for the forbidden enter of Kosovo Albanian troops into Northern Kosovo. Serbs should remember how they were fooled with the agreement text concerning the return of their troops to Kosovo: "...agreed number of troops...". And nothing was agreed.

For how many years? At first, Kosovo proposed 3-5 years, the Serbs wanted 10 - meaning they realized it wouldn't be forever.

Who cares who decide, Pristina can only and have to put a commander that we have chosen without asking you and it sure as hell wont be a rat (b92 cenzura). Of course it is a victory, no rats in northern Kosovo without NATO permission. Your security forces can not enter north kosovo thats the main sentence, isnt that a loss for you and a victory for us?

The agreement says 3-5 years KSF who later will transform into KDF (Kosovo Defense Force) should not enter the northern part of Kosovo. What I found insteresting is that it doesnt say anything about NJSO who are better trained and equipped for guerrilla warfare, they number 800-strong operators. Had they included NJSO it would had been a Serbian victory, but it seems Serbian politicans have no a clue about NJSO. I too personally wouldnt send KSF in north since its still a young force with little experience hence probably why Thaci agreed to it.

Just my two cents.

Remember how Kosovo had agreed to have an asterisk beside its name indicating a text that Kosovo is/isn't Serbian?
Now, remember how they kept the descriptions in their pocket and only had representatives named "Kosovo*" on the table, simply because the agreement didn't state where to put the text.

My point is these "conditions" or "points" are vague just like before. You see that in the text it says KSF, but KSF will be named to something else, say, Kosovo Army. Now those agreements are not valid because it was referring to only KSF. One can argue that it was only talking about KSF and decisions will be made based on that.

You seem to have not read the Agreement very carefully. All the laws of Kosova apply throughout the country. Anyone breaking Kosova law, including the police in North Kosova, will be subject to prosecution. The Kosova Security Forces will protect its entire territory as they see fit. Every citizen of Kosova, whether Albanian or Serb, must obey its laws. Your own Serb negotiating committee has agreed to this. Serbia will no longer interfere or have any influence in the governing of Kosova.

KSF or soon Kosovo Army( ( as your president says)will operate all over Kosovo. But I am sure for now we don't need to go to north and start war but we will go, if needed - in emergency's. we know you don't want to see us so much but am afraid we are there and so will be for ever.

Kosovo is the winner here, About the Kosovo security forces entering northern mitrovica it is okay since you can send police instead,same people diferent uniforms.

Regarding the change that serbia is proud of "neither side will block, or encourage others to block, the other side’s progress in their respective EU path.

Inside the text you see that EU will say to Serbia that you agreed not to block the EU path of Kosovo, therfore we can not let Kosovo into the EU WITHOUT YOU RECOGNISING kOSOVO, AND IF SERBIA RECOGNISES kOSOVO rUSSIA WILL FOLLOW AND THE SEAT AT UN

Since Kosovo has an airport, your opinions are of little matter....but hey while we're on the subject of a territory you're now banned from entering, you'd be happy to know that with the exception of some trigger happy Germans, the rest of KFOR gets along rather fine with the local Serbs and will now provide joint security with them who will be "operating" within the Kosovo police system, but really just defending their own territory.

Afterall Serbs tend to have short memory and spin every loss into a big victory for them.

Answer truthfully is there a Serb foolish enough to believe this. Serbia insisted on it in the agreement, it never happened so they went to NATO to get the agreement. And you only have your politicians words as to what this agreement is and no confirmation. Nothing in writing, no statements from NATO, nothing.
So far the duties of KSF is for help during disasters, there is not really an army at present, that is in the future and it will not be bound by some supposed agreement that has no way of even being verified.

Serbs in Kosovo were just sold by their own government. Dacic and Nikolic will be rich - a sale of part of a country cannot be cheap.

I would not send KSF in the North in the first place. It would not be wise, I cannot see how eventual benefits would justify the likely costs. KFOR can handle those costs, but the Albanians and the Serbs cannot. I would let KFOR deal with the North for the time being. They have done a good job so far and are less hated up there.
