Justice HAS been served. Serbs are always on the defensive defending their massacres and war criminals. They are always crying about how the number of war criminals in the Hague isn't divided evenly between Bosnians, Croatians, Slovenians and Kosovars. They lost land against EVERY country they fought. ALL of their entire political elite of the 90's and their most revered military "heros" are in jail rotting away. They are landlocked and not a part of the EU or Europe. Interesting definition of genocide you have. Fortunately, the UN has a different one, and on the base of that definition, ICJ ruled Srebrenica as genocide.

Yes, but the Serbian parliament adopted the resolution on Srebrenica, they don't deny it. But it was under the previous government, if such a resolution would pass in the current Serbian parliament, I have some doubts about.

Furthermore, everyone who glorifies generals which are responsible for war crimes, killings and ethnic cleansing hinder reconciliation. Those people exists in large parts, not only in Serbian society. For example, politicians celebrating alleged war criminals who were set free by the ICTY only because of some dubious reasons (like Haradinaj and his gang, like these Croatian generals, and so on) surely don't help.

We should look at the Nuremberg trials as well, far too many Germans were sentenced :-). Its really unfair

Srebrenica was just plain wrong. Yes, people were unjustly slaughtered, but was it genocide. Genocide is the killing of an entire group of people, not just men. But it was war, would not all sides in a conflict like to eliminate all of the enemy? Many Serbian civilians were killed by Croatian, Muslim, and Albanian forces, should we call that an attempt at genocide? I believe that the ICTY was too quick, under Western influence, to call Srebrenica genocide. It was mass murder, a horrible act by an armed force. One that the Serbian army should forever be ashamed of. In any case, the victims will never come back, and whatever you call that atrocity in Srebrenica will not take away the pain for the families of the victims. It is the world governments that find value and meaning in these terms, like genocide. It is then easier to continue their agendas in world politics.

Many Serbian civilians were killed by Croatian, Muslim, and Albanian forces, should we call that an attempt at genocide? I believe that the ICTY was too quick, under Western influence, to call Srebrenica genocide. It was mass murder, a horrible act by an armed force. One that the Serbian army should forever be ashamed of. In any case, the victims will never come back, and whatever you call that atrocity in Srebrenica will not take away the pain for the families of the victims. It is the world governments that find value and meaning in these terms, like genocide. It is then easier to continue their agendas in world politics.

Interesting definition of genocide you have. Fortunately, the UN has a different one, and on the base of that definition, ICJ ruled Srebrenica as genocide.
