On average 1,000 kilos of Heroin is ceased in Kosovo every year and EULEX and other European authorities state that whats ceased is only a drop in the ocean! So I think its safe to say based on these facts that Kosovo Albanians are the biggest heroin traffickers in Europe!

No matter what IQ test says greed always takes over and in the case of many countries which have recognized "Kosova" greed and submission to higher power dominated.
This man is only stating what his citizens are thinking.
The governments which have recognized you are going against their people's will, well in most cases. Germany, Croatia and Hungary have recognized you purely because they are like you.

Ian, in every mature democracy you would need to get the support of parliament. Your comment is blindingly obvious and redundant.

He is only stating what everybody else thinks. The vast majority of weaker countries were bullied into recognition by the more powerful voices; USA, Germany, Britain, etc. I think that's blindingly obvious. Irrespective of whether Kosovo is predominantly Albanian populated there is a principle at stake. Stripping a sovereign state of its legal territory on the basis of demography is unacceptable and plain wrong. Furthermore Kosovo is not governed by the rule of law. It is beyond the pale. Criminality there is a way of life not an aberration. It is an outlaw construct created at the behest of US/NATO brute force. It is unconscionable.

Well, Ian, there is a lot of truth to what this man says about Pristina. Can anyone explain how Thaci, Haradjinaj, etal., became so ridiculously wealthy on government salaries? Kind of like Dukanovic in Montenegro, although that guy is not suspected in dealing drugs, not directly, anyway. This is just one of a ton of links on Google: [link]
There is simply too much evidence to suggest otherwise, although I respect the fact that you fight for your people, Ian.

No one tell Ian that Zeman joined the KSC as a student (as most people did at that time because it was necessary to have access to the best jobs) and before Soviet invasion, after which he was suspended then expelled. He was politically involved with Vaclav Havel's party after 1989 and has denounced the expulsion of the Sudenten Germans.

He is known for his sharp, even insulting speeches and wit,

In June 2011, Zeman, referring to Islam, said "The enemy is the anti-civilisation spreading from North Africa to Indonesia. Two billion people live in it." He likened Muslims who believe in the Qur'an to antisemitic and racist Nazis. A complaint was lodged against him following the comments.

"I consider Kosovo a terrorist regime financed by narco-mafias," Belgrade-based daily Danas is quoting Zeman as saying.

Strong words, maybe too strong, but there's a lot of truth in it. The world knows that Kosovo politicians (i.e. former KLA fighters) and drug mafia clans (who financed the KLA) still have strongest ties.

How else was it possible for Kosovo to become Europe's main drug hub in the last few years if there wouldn't have been patronage from the 'government'?

Why is this sort of thing not suprising when it comes from an Islamophobic Russian loving ex-Commuist who joined the Communist Party very shortly after the Prague Spring of 1968?
(Ian, UK, 24 January 2013 15:06)

One doesn't have to be an Islamophobic Russian loving ex-Communist to call a spade a spade :)

Ian, UK

Why is this sort of thing not suprising when it comes from an Islamophobic Russian loving ex-Commuist who joined the Communist Party very shortly after the Prague Spring of 1968? One could say he is a traitor to his Czech brothers for this.

Vaclav Klaus was powerless to block the recognition of Kosovo, powerless to stop Diplomatic relations being established with Kosovo, powerless to stop the Czech embassy in Kosovo from being opened and powerless to block the appointment of a Charge d'affaires to Kosovo. Only the appointment of a Czech Ambassador to Kosovo required Presidential approval.

It'd be interesting to see that if Zeman does become President, will the Czech charge d'affaires be withdrawn or would the Czech Parliament block this from happening... again!

Under the Czech system, Zeman doesn't even have the power to close Kosovo's Embassy in Prague or even declare Kosovo's charge d'affaires to the Czech Republic a persona non grata. He can only refuse to accept the credentials of a Kosovan Ambassador and refuse to sign the credentials of a Czech Ambassador to Kosovo. The Czech Parliament got around this by using the lesser Charge d'affaires instead of ambassadors.
