So you are unable to prove your claims?

Come on Ian... haven't you learned yet that you never, ever ask the CE of the B92 forums sj for proof... What sj says it is correct because sj says so - everybody is entitled to create his/her reality :)

If I am making this up then you have no worries at all so why bother asking this question, but the problem is that there is something niggling at you and the others over my claims.
I have made comments on the B92 forum since 2007 and so far I have not come across one Albanian who has worked in a government position and the closest that one did work in finance was employed in a stockbroker’s office – this guy kept on talking about the great amount he was making in buying and selling shares.
The levels of unemployment have been discussed at academic forums in the US, UK, Australia and Europe; they have been covered even by the BBC on a couple of occasions on radio that I know off involving British academics. When these academics were asked “why does the government hide these figures? On every occasion the reply was “no government dares publish actual unemployment figures for fear of electoral backlash at the polls and in bad times this could be the difference between a country going under or surviving.
How do I know, we I am in the finance industry and it’s my business to know where all “the bodies are buries”. The financial institution I work for lends billions to countries and it has to know all about its clients.

So, Ida, seeing as we're talking 300e wages here, salaries were up a whopping 6e.

I would say this is more likely due to the dinar jumping artificially in November for few days than anything else.

" I did read that salaries were up 2% in both real and nominal terms in November. I'm thinking November or December may be a little bit better. We will see.
(ida, 29 December 2012 05:21) "

That sounds good - increasing incomes will help the economy as much as anything.

The US official rate of unemployment is 7.8%, but in reality it’s more like 25% to 30 % - why even the academics in the US openly stated that they believe it’s anywhere between 22% to 24%, this is their conservative estimate. And this is a US out of recession? Yeah and pigs will fly.

"October? Well, that's interesting, from an historical standpoint, but today is December 28 - what was the figure for November?"

Usually these statistics take a while to come in and be analyzed. I did read that salaries were up 2% in both real and nominal terms in November. I'm thinking November or December may be a little bit better. We will see.
