Was 'Srebrenica genocide' a hoax?Internationally respected military forensic specialist Dr Zoran Stankovic, who reviewed the findings of the six experts employed by the Tribunal wrote that the effort lacked standard procedures, several of experts also lacked familiarity with wounds inflicted by military ordinance and some parts of the reports are “contrary to the generally acceptable forensic standards”. According to Dr Stankovic, many of the bodies exhumed from 17 gravesites were found in an advance state of decay “skeletonized, disarticulated and decomposed” lacking soft tissue and body parts that could help determine the cause of death. “Ascertainment of the cause of death in the cases of decomposed bodies is generally extremely difficult and in most case impossible…It is not allowed that [ICTY] experts provide their opinion in that regard and put forward the assumption having no grounds in autopsy findings.”Between 200 and 300 blindfolds and ligatures were exhumed with bodies by the ICTY, and as Dr. Stankovic notes, these are sure signs of execution…

Besides that, as expected, Mladic is using the famous Milosevic method: Requesting to postpone and delay for several reasons, because he didn't have the time to prepare, because he has to read all the 1000s of pages personally, and so on, and so on.

There are 2 main reasons for his tactics.
1. He knows he will spend the rest of his life in prison being in the Hague versus a regular prison is the difference between drinking wine and vinegar. As long as he is on trial life is comfortable.
2. With failing health if he dies before the end of his trial (as Milosevic) there will be no guilty verdict for Serbia. A true goal for an ultranationalist.

Yes a year since his arrest, and no progress in the trial! The trial has only just started and already a major legal blunder, thus putting off the trial for a bit. How embarrasing for the Hague and all those wankers who wanted him arrested, I'm sure Mladic is finding all this to be quite a joke.

At least Mladic's capture should be providing some relief to his victims' including their friends and kin but still some of us wish that Mladic was captured years earlier and the reason I say that is because his trial would have completed or near completion where a verdict may have been reached by the Hague tribunal.
