"If so then they are better off joining Montenegro."

We don't want them to leave Kosovo, but if they chose, I am sure they will like Montenegro. They have a wonderful coast!

I am sure the governments of Kosovo and Montenegro can work something out so they get their Montenegrin papers once they move there!

Just a recommendation, since the road is pretty icy at the moment, they should wait until the weather gets warmer. After all, they are still citizens of Kosovo, we don't want our citizens to get hurt in traffic accidents.

He offered three arguments in favor of his proposal: the outcome of the referendum is known in advance, it could slow down Serbia's progress on its EU path, and the Serbs residing in northern Kosovo could be left without the support of the only state which they recognize - the Republic of Serbia.
--
Outcome is know: And it needs to be loud and clear.
Slow down EU progress: That's another reason to do it.
Lose support of the DS: Since elections are around the corner, another good reason to strengthen the opposition and kick out the remaining DS major in KiM.

What is wrong with knowing in advance how it's going to turn out? It doesn't mean that any corruption went on. It just jeans that Serbs have made their intentions and desires crystal clear so the referendum is just a formality.
Who cares if EU slows down Serbia's progress for membership. It doesn't matter if the train is traveling 100k or 150k when there is a block in place towards the end. That train has to stop to clear the block before it reaches it's destination and you get the same outcome. Clear the block (give up on Kosovo) or you stay where you are.

The third one is the most absurd. Why wouldn't the Serbs in the north be left without support of Serbia? Is this going to be heir punishment? If so then they are better off joining Montenegro.
