@Danilo, yes it does.

You moan all day long because what you want to see happen socially in Serbia wont, so the reason I advise you to go elsewhere, is because you will probably be happier, afterall nobody has a gun to your head forcing you to stay. Anyway you seem to love the philosophy of a democracy, now democracy is a majoritarian model, so in Serbia this would mean that the majority who disagrees with gay culture should be ignored, and the minority placing their view forcefully over the democratic victors. Thats the thing with you liberal types, such hypocrites, yeah you all love democracy, apart from when it doesnt agree with you, then democracy doesnt apply, and your minority view should be forced on people. I dont know why I waste my time with your BS.

Naming somebody a traitor is just another way of trying to employ a negative emotional reaction to them, without considering what they have to say.

I disagree with Jovanovic's position on joining NATO. I think that his policy on Kosovo is wrong, but I also think that no party in Serbia has a good approach to the Kosovo issue, so he's not alone.

Now lets get to the point shall we? The issue for debate here is not to do DS' work for them, but to consider both the timing and the independence of the Anti Corruption Agency's statement.

In other words last week Jovanovic's LDP said it would suspend support of government legislation in parliament (even if they agree with it in principle). This means that there is a chance that the government will be forced into early elections. Clearly the government doesn't want that.

A few days later we have this story about Jovanovic. But lets get back to booing / hissing Jovanovic, we don't want DS to lose any votes to them now do we?

Anybody fancing thinking, before having an emotional 'episode'?

Dragan,

If you honestly think that, then you've learned nothing in the western democracy you live in.

If you dont like it Danilo, then it would be best for everyone including yourself that you dont go to Serbia. Your problem is that you wish to see Serbia under a way of life where the vast majority of people dont agree with you, but you also reject the core values and even the constitution of Serbia. Also for the last time, please get your definitions of the words 'disagree' and 'traitor' correct, otherwise dont comment on them.

Danilo

pre 12 godina

Geeze, SCP. I guess anyone is a traitor then.

Look at ANY civilized country on earth. People disagree with each other, even fundamentally. They're not traitors to each-other, they simply disagree.

There's something fundamentally wrong with Serbian culture, and it starts with "samo sloga srbian spasava". It's against decent. "Anyone who disagrees with me is an enemy". bullsh*t. anyone who disagrees with you, disagrees with you.

It's a bit childish to call someone 'a traitor' just because his vision of his country happens to be different from yours.
(Danilo, 18 October 2011 19:59)

He's a traitor because he holds treasonous views to his country and works against her interests. I have outlined those views for you below. In countries like your beloved US of A, he would be in jail for treason. Get it genius? Comprendes Mendes? Or perhaps that is too hard for you to grasp?

Danilo,

Traitor: 'a person who is guilty of treason or treachery, in betraying friends, country, a CAUSE or trust, etc.' (the cause in this case being Kosovo).
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/traitor

A man who fled his own country's army in a war to join the opposing side because HIS VIEW is to have his country taken over by the other side would be a traitorous act. This may not be a time of war but the concept is very similar. Cedo is also a traitor because as I said but have to repeat, he speaks against his country's constitution.

I have no idea what your understanding of the word traitor is but it must be really absurd. If cedo was born in Kosovo and grew up to see his family constantly terrorised I think his views would be the opposite instead of taking such a selfish and ignorant view. If the 1999 NATO bombings didn't have an affect on him then he really must be deluded, who knows maybe that coward fled to Western Europe or the US during it.

Danilo,

First of all thank you SCP UK for answering. But Danilo, seriously?? Dude, do you really need to ask such stupid questions? I mean, maybe he's a sleazy traitor because he wants to recognize Kosovo, break off ties with Republika Srpska, join NATO (an organization of war criminals who illegaly bombed Serbia and poisoned her with depleted uranium)...maybe it's because he's never worked an honest day in his life and he 'somehow' lives high on the hog, maybe it's because he gets money from foreign organizations who are vehemently anti-Serb and acts as their spokesman..?? You think, maybe?? Is that enough for you?

SCP UK

This doesn't surprise me at all, its always the supposed moral and liberal kinds of people who are among the most corrupt and so willing to take money. There is no doubt that with all these luxuries he has that he isnt recieving money from the west, his official income that he would get from being an MP would never cover such costs, and now the fact that he is failing to report on land just makes my claims even more probable. The Americans will gladly pay and Serb who will speak against the Serbian national interests and play into the hands of them.

@Danilo,
I will tell you why Dragan rightfully called him a "sleazy traitor". He publicly speaks in favour of Kosovo's independence, which in fact defies Serbia's constitution which vows to protect Kosovo as part of Serbia, Tadic has made enough of a mockery of this but cedo just pisses all over it. Secondly he advocates Serbian NATO membership, which I think to any normal Serb is such a betrayal, seeing as that sick and twisted organization dropped bombs on Serbian people. He advocates EU membership despite the fact that most of the EU recognises Kosovo (but this does connect with his stance on Kosovo). Need more explaining Danilo???

None of what you say is a form of sedition. These are all legitimate political views, which you may not share, which should be (and are) freely debated in the body politic.

It's a bit childish to call someone 'a traitor' just because his vision of his country happens to be different from yours.

Who are this citizens and why B92 investigative journalists didn't report this corruption? I'm sure a lot of people are interested to know what property they are talking about.

'The leader of the Liberal-Democrats (LDP) and MP in the current parliament failed to report all the property he owns, according to this.'

I'm sure Cedo failed to report many, many things. Such as where he gets the money to pay for his 24/7 security, his SUV, his huge house, on top of these secret properties he owns. I'm sure the money comes from CIA funded programs, NATO countries' 'freedom funds' of one sort or another, or perhaps even from Thaci's drug money. Nothing would surprise me with this sleazy traitor. Ceda is very well paid to insult, libel, blacken, and weaken Serbia on a regular basis. Follow the money people, then everything will be much more clear!
