according to the UNHCR, in the day before the bombing, there were 20,000 refugees, and 5 days later, there were 800,000, isnt it crystal clear what caused the refugee crisis?
(New Zealander, 7 July 2011 22:27)

Absolutely... It was crystal clear that's why ICTY convicted the comander of the Serb forces in Kosovo during the 1999 war Gen. Pavkovic to 22 years in prison.

Serbia in the ex-YU, carried out atrocities and ethnic-cleansing, not Albanians Mr. Bogdanovic, your State (you have to take responsibility) killed 250.000 Muslims in Bosnia and 11.000 Albanians killed in Kosovo! Now LIE, carry on.

Can you guys stick to the topic just once and not go off in some other direction?

What are you saying with this? Are you saying that now Serbs have to change their names to sound more like Albanian, declare themselves Kosovars and not speak anything but Albanian?
Why? Why don't you all speak Kosovaree language or whatever the hell you think you have down there?
Why speak Albanian when you are not in Albania but in "Kosova"?

How about all Albanians in Serbia must change their names to sound more Serbian, forget Albanian as a language, forget learning in any other language than Serbian and declare themselves Serbs because they live in Serbia?
What is the difference between this and what you are wanting in "Kosova"?

Next time just stick to the topic and stop with neverending rubbish.

"trying to finalize ethnic cleansing"

Really? Albanians are "ethnically cleansing" Serbs in Kosova? Here is a list of the "ethnic cleansing" that Serbs did in Kosova and Ill let you decide if what the Kosovar Albanians are "ethnically cleansing".

• Forcible Displacement of Kosovar Albanian Civilians: Serbian authorities conducted a campaign of forced population movement. In contrast to actions taken during 1998, Yugoslav Army units and armed civilians joined the police in systematically expelling Kosovar Albanians at gunpoint from both villages and larger towns in Kosovo.

• Looting of Homes and Businesses: There are numerous reports of Serbian forces robbing residents before burning their homes. Another round of robbery occurred as Serbian forces stole from fleeing Kosovars as they crossed the border to Montenegro, Albania, or Macedonia.

• Widespread Burning of Homes: Over 1,200 residential areas were at least partially burned after late March, 1999. Kosovar Albanians have reported that over 500 villages were burned after March, 1999.

• Use of Human Shields: Kosovar Albanians were used to escort military convoys and shield facilities throughout the province. Other reporting indicates that Serbian forces intentionally positioned ethnic Albanians at sites they believed were targets for NATO airstrikes.

• Detentions: Serbian forces systematically separated military-aged men from the general population as Kosovars were expelled. These men were detained in facilities ranging from cement factories to prisons. Many of these detainees were forced to dig trenches and were physically abused. At least 2,000 Kosovar Albanians remain in detention in around a dozen Serbian prisons today.

• Summary Executions: There are accounts of summary executions at about 500 sites across Kosovo.

• Exhumation of Mass Graves: Serbian forces burned, destroyed, or exhumed bodies from mass graves in an attempt to destroy evidence. Some were reinterred in individual graves.

• Rape: There are numerous accounts indicating that the organized and individual rape of Kosovar Albanian women by Serbian forces was widespread. For example, Serbian forces systematically raped women in Djakovica and Pec, and in some cases rounded up women and took them to hotels where they were raped by troops under encouragement of their commanders. Rape is most likely an underreported atrocity because of the stigma attached to the victims in traditional Kosovar Albanian society.

• Violations of Medical Neutrality: Kosovar Albanian physicians, patients and medical facilities were systematically attacked. Many health care facilities were used as protective cover for military activities; NGOs report the destruction by Serbian forces of at least 100 clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals.

• Identity Cleansing: Kosovar Albanians were systematically stripped of identity and property documents including passports, land titles, automobile license plates, identity cards, and other forms of documentation. As much as 50 percent of the population may be without documentation. By systematically destroying schools, places of worship, and hospitals, Serbian forces sought to destroy social identity and the fabric of Kosovar Albanian society.

All of this transpired under the rule of Serbia.

Sorry, but the number killed in Bosnia was 100,000, 60,000 of the muslims and 30,000 Civilians, And that includes those loyal to Yugoslavia and killed by their own kind, and killed by Croats. Also, Serbia itself wasnt responsible for that as they boycotted the Bosnian Serrbs and eventually brought peace to the country

As for Kosovo the toll was around 10,000, split roughly 50/50 Albanian/non Albanian it includes some 3500 (2500 of them civilians) killed by the nato bombardment in central Serbia, along with all the military deaths, and leaves the total of Albanian Civilian deaths at about 2000, then you've got to take of the Albanians bombed by Nato, and those killed by the Kla for being againt their corrupt leadership or supporting the Serbian state. That leaves you with a pretty small number.

Finally, on ethniccleansing in the province, while its undeniable that some (mostly paramilitary) units committed ethnic cleansing, there was nothing to indicate that the Serbian state was involved,(remember Milutinovic was aquitted, andnot a single charge was proven against Milosevic) as, according to the UNHCR, in the day before the bombing, there were 20,000 refugees, and 5 days later, there were 800,000, isnt it crystal clear what caused the refugee crisis? 150,000 of them fled into other parts of Yugoslavia, if the state was deliberatly expelling them, then why would they take them in as refugees?

Oh I love the one about 100K greeks in Albania. You know Greeks have their own political party in Albania, and they never managed to get more than 2-3% of the votes, roughly 40K for now 20 yrs. And yes Albania is keeping schools open for them, in Greek, even if there are only 3-4 pupils in the classroom.

Up to now Greece had a way with it, cuz it was paying any Orthodox albanian a pension of 200-300 Euro a month, only for them to declare themselves greek. Many did out of poverty, although they never voted for the greek political party, and they have a long anti-Greek tradition. But now money is running out, and Greece needs a bail out as it always has, so it can't pay those hefty pensions any longer.

As of the Vlach minority, they have always been respected and indeed some of the most famous Albanian nationalist, patriots and state figures have been and still are of Vlach origin. The Macedonian minority, I would say they are around 10K judgeing from the last elections and what the votes their political party received. It's all public, we aint affraid of no ghosts.

Mick and so called Minister. Your statements or lies make Serbia simply an enemy state to Kosovo and all its citizens. You simply do not have any good intentions for Kosova, whether part of Serbia, on its own, or even if Kosovo transfers itself out-of space!

EU should tap on your remarks and actions, when they look at neighbourly relations and notice your rhetoric, as such they should punish you in every way possible and make it impossible for you to enter the EU.

No, they're not finalizing ethnic cleansing. They're setting up "minority zones" similar to those in Albanian for the Greeks and others who dare say they're anything but Albanian :)

Why speak Albanian when you are not in Albania but in "Kosova"?"

according to the UNHCR, in the day before the bombing, there were 20,000 refugees, and 5 days later, there were 800,000, isnt it crystal clear what caused the refugee crisis?
(New Zealander, 7 July 2011 22:27)

Absolutely... It was crystal clear that's why ICTY convicted the comander of the Serb forces in Kosovo during the 1999 war Gen. Pavkovic to 22 years in prison.
