Hey, where's "Kosova"?
(Peggy, 30 June 2011 11:26)

Oh come on Peggy. You know more than that.
Why are you so preoccupied where Kosova is? If you give a wrong answer on this question to Croatian President of EU in 2013, he/she will come again after 2 years to check your progress and will ask the same question to you again. You better learn and prepare the right question or you will have negative report.

OOPs, I just stepped into a kindergarten class, no intellectual commenting here. Just a bunch of kids with their hands on their hips and tongues out at each other, claiming my daddy is more important than yours!

“@iowe I did not say that ignoring/not inviting Kosovo to SEECP is a slap to Serbia's face. The supportive applause for Tadic is ironic- a little slappy maybe :) (IMO), because the triumph of not inviting Kosovo is shadowed by the support these countries gave Kosovo by recognizing it as an independent country. This applaud refers only to this meeting, not to Kosovo's independence, which to say the truth, is more important to Albanians than participating SEECP. P.S Let's not get drunk with water is an expression, it's not an invitation to go out with you!
(barbanera, 30 June 2011 22:22)”

Well, people like me do see “see ignoring/not inviting Kosovo to SEECP” as a slap to KOSOVO’s face. And I fail to see how applauding someone can be construed as negative for him/her -- they applauded Tadic and not Kosovo which probably wanted to be there but was not able to participate. Finally, as I told you earlier, when did I say anything about drinking with you? Especially when you are someone who can “get drunk with WATER” – by the way, I’m being ironic (sarcastic even) here in case you don’t get it.

Peggy, Kosova is not member of SEECP due to the Serbian refusal. Your questions is similar to: When is Serbia taking the EU presidency?:)
(barbanera, 30 June 2011 14:59)

By the time Serbia could possibly join the EU, the Lisbon Treaty will be in force which strips away a number of competences of the EU Presidency. But then for dumkopfs, presentation over substance is always more important.

"@iowe and peggy! Let's not get drunk with water. Tadic got a big applause, Adriatic CHapter was not important...Well, where was Serbia while European countries met in Poland and later on Slovenia? Where will be Serbia when Germany or France invite Kosovo ? That applause that Tadic received yesterday sound like an irony to Serbia, because 90% of the participating countries in SEECP have recognized Kosovo, so that's a slap in the face for Serbia! And well, if it makes anybody feel better: Kosovo je Serbia :)

who's talking about getting drunk with you? Serbia was invited to all those gatherings that you and Kosova-USA mentioned. I merely asked Kosovo-USA whether Pristina was invited to SEECP, and I note that he/she has not replied up to now.

And I fail to see how "Kosova"'s absence from SEECP represented, in your words, "a slap in the face for Serbia'. Are you sure it really ain't a slap in the face for Pristina instead? Especially since, in your own words, most of the SEECP members have recognized "Kosova" and still you guys remained out of this gathering? Was it because nobody bothered to campaign for "Kosova"'s inclusion? So whose face was really getting slapped? Would you care to clarify?

Kosovo was there since Kosovo is a province of Serbia.
No problems.
I heard from two western diplomats attending that Tadic got massive applauds from all except Albanian delegation. Straight on Tadic !
