No partition, exchange of territory, Kosovo president says

Always funny to read the Kosovo Albanian arguments against a partition: "It's a thing from the past, has no European perspective, causes a chain reaction, Borders are fixed, territorial integrity", and so on, and so on - always having in mind that Kosovo was created violating ALL of these (good) arguments. Somehow bizarre, don't you think?

As Serbs in Serbia without Russia are nothing. Look through out History Serbia has had Russias backing and took advantage, now that someone else has someone stronger in their side they dont like it.

Nothing wrong with having strong friends we dont mind yours as long as you dont mind ours.

Serbia loves having double standards:

1. When they go to lobby or Russia to lobby for non recognition is great nothing wrong with that type of pressure, but If Kosovo or USA/EU goes asks for recognition won this is hypocritical.

2. Serbia talks of Great Albania where we are all aware of !990 project Big Serbia and a dream of Every Serb to have exit in Adriatic through Bosnia.

3. How is it every Republic in Yugoslavia did not want to live with Serbs, an old saying goes when you hear you are drunk from one person keep walking when you hear it from more than one you should hold the wall, so Serbia still blames all except them selves.

We all know Kosovo solution is now different its about small portion of the North so lets wait and see what the outcome will be.

One thing I've learned about Albanians during the whole Kosovo issue is that you tend to be so sure about yourselves. However, the world is not a sure place. Even in the US, where life has been good for a long time, nothing is sure. Many people have lost jobs and homes over the past 5 years. The US also once thought it was invulnerable to attack but then there was 9-11. Now, we cannot even travel freely any longer. Airports are hell and people prefer to drive than go by plane. So much was lost because we Americans were so sure about ourselves. You should learn from our experiences.
For your part, you believed that the majority of the world would recognize Kosovo Albanians' UDI, and it didn't. Now, you expect that you can push lies about your territorial integrity. You have no territorial integrity since you have no internationally recognized borders. Once the vast majority of countries recognizes Kosovo, you can do what you like. For now, I'd suggest you live in reality and accept that this situation is far from solved. Who knows, if you stop being so smug, maybe one day Serbia will work with you and actually come to some mutually agreed upon solution. Then, and only then, you may see Kosovo as a fully recognized country. Until then you have absolutely nothing and now bull you present your people will ever change that. Remember, your people do live in poverty:-)

While partition at the Ibar would solve nearly all of Kosovo's practical problems with Belgrade, I do agree that in terms of the entire K-Serb community, partition is a bad idea. Northern Kosovo, and Kosovska Mitrovica in particular, needs to remain in Kosovo in order to serve as a bridge between Belgrade to the north and the rest of the Serb enclaves to the center and south.

If I remember correctly I wrote "But partition of Serbia and theft ...". By not showing "of Serbia" the context of the sentense looks kind of goofy. I hope that hereby things make more sense (at least more sense than the voting statistics; it looks like a lot of Albanians have the day off and choose to spend it in front of the computer surfing B92).

Unfortunately a partition of Kosovo is the only solution. Serbs are not able to return to their homes in albanian parts of Kosovo. By giving in to US demands to accept Pristinas rule in the north the remaining serbs will be expelled as well and albanians and the americans will get their will of a serb free Kosovo. This is simply not acceptable to the civilized world. Therefore the reality on the ground will eventually be accepted, if not officially then unafficially. Regardless what the US or the albanians say. If you want a united Kosovo then get ready for war.

Yes, how ridiculous, considering that Croatia and Bosnia were never a part of Serbia. If you don't remember, Serbia and all the other republics were the constituent parts of Yugoslavia, Serbia was not synonymous with Yugoslavia as you would like to imply. Using your logic, one could argue that it was Serbia that seceded from Croatia. This is not a case of Double Standards as you state, but a devious attempt to muddle the waters for those even more uneducated than yourself.

The whole partition scenario has come to the front from the Serbian side--Translation--we need to win something inorder to allow independence. China and Russia, the only obstacles to UN membership have repeatedly said that they will back any plan agreed by both Serbia and Kosovo. It is a lot closer than you want to believe.

Do you still not see it? It has to be agreed on. Anything Serbia will not agree on will still block your membership because of Russia and China being instrumental in admitting you.
So, if Serbia agrees on something you can bet "Kosova" is not going to a member of the UN. Maybe a part of it known as something else or as part of Albanian but not "Kosova". I don't think you are close at all.
