This article / his author/ needs even the smallest bean of honesty - according to him, Christians were attacked in two counties: Egypt and Nigeria. Dual standards at it's worst. Perhaps the author wasn't motivated (enough) to look at the Balkans, therefore
someone should pass some of the YouTube recordings from March 2004, Kosovo.
Or, even better, that book, Crucified Kosovo.
Let's give him a chance to be(come?) honest.

Egypt has over 8-15 million Christians, mostly Copts; the country should redo their constitution and create a more tolerant society. Using the Lebanon model would be a good basis for beginning, where parliamentary seats are divided properly amongst rightful minorities/peoples; secondly a proper judicial system based on the rule of law and not some religious crap. Continuing on, division of power, giving key postions ie. military, prime minister, foreign affairs etc. to diverse poeples - not some ideological freak bent on dominating others. Wake up Egypt - you can't be a state and treat millions of your citizens as dhimmis...this is the 21st century...
I could go on and on about how they could create a more secular society...
