Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio has received the ultimate accolade from Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, RFE/RL reports.

I don't know what Putin is like in his domestice politics, but internationally I think he is great. I also think that there are some fantastic and intelligent politicians who represent Russia, such as Lavrov. He can wipe the floor with most other politicians.

Putin really won my respect after that horrendous nightmare at Beslan when he visited some of the kids in hospital and showed real care and sensitivity for them.

And you've got to admit that he is one cool guy.

Vladimir Putin is the best man the Russians could ever have running their country if they want respect.The judo master is one tough hombre.Leonardo DiCaprio should be more generous than just donating $1 million but it is a good start.Where is Angelina with her checkbook?
