The Tadic team has sold Serbian soil and the lives of Kosovo Serbs! They will go down in history as the Serbs who betrayed their own people.

I agree just more blah blah - all more talk and absolutely no substance - fully sums what the EU has become.

As for Serbia not joining by 2020 - thats more than enough time to totally illuminate the deception and indecent proposal that Tadic accepted from Ashton - to hell with EU and its indecent proposal.

The EU is nothing more than an 'old boys' club for making money for a very few at the complete expense of all others. EU is not the only option and frankly the more Serbians discover the inner workings of the EU the sooner they will realise the bondage to which they will be tied to & at the loss of Kosovo.

Its time that opposition parties make it clear to EU that this will not be accepted & to take full advantage of the coming months & show the Serbian populace someone cares and can light the path to a world of opportunities for ALL of Serbia.

ALL of Serbia deserves better then D yeS to all that EU demands.

I remember as a child being frightened of Germans who were threatening the world. NOW they are the pit bulls of Europe. What a world. For those in my age group, we do not forget.

Serbia has ceased to exist as we knew it. It has bowed to the powers for, for I am not sure what. Is the exchange of respect for sovereignty and dignity, worth the price of admission to a rotten club, the EU? Let this be a lesson to you, Albanians. Just wait and see the concessions Pristina will have to make, if it wants anything to do with The Club. It is going to make your heads spin.

No, miri, recognition of "Kosova" is no requirement for entry into EU.

The required "stable and peaceful relations to all neighbors" will be established through the dialogue intended by the resolution.

Serbia would have to amend its constitution for recognizing "Kosova" (Serbian Constitution: Preamble, last sentence; Art. 114; Art. 182)
(see the unofficial English translation:
http://www.mpravde.gov.rs/images/05__constitution_of_rs.pdf)

Such amendment requires a two-third majority of the total number of deputies (see Art. 203 of the Serbian Constitution).

Such majority does not exist and will not exist, because SNS, DSS and SRS will never agree to such amendment of the constitution.

It won't be long then before the 'EU' (i.e. De, Fr & UK) add 'new' conditions for things to go ahead. BTW, has anyone noticed that there has been silence over Mladic? Is this what Tadic got as a deal? EU drops the Mladic condition for Serbia's EU accession process in return for Belgrade gutting its UNGA resolution???

"German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said that the consultations on forwarding Serbia's EU candidacy application to the European Commission should start."

Well, if he doesn't want EU's newest yes man Tadic replaced by the Radicals or Kostunica in the next Serbian election, does he really have any choice?

Of course. Now that the Serbian regime has humiliated itself under their diktat and surrendered Kosovo to NATO unconditionally, talks about an annexation to the new sovjet can commence. btw, as Malic noted:
""Serbia will be ‘voluntarily raped’- namely, Belgrade will be required to declare the rape consensual after the fact, and then be given hush money by the rich playboy responsible for the act, in this case the EU."

The prediction was only half right. Belgrade was indeed required to declare the rape consensual. However, with the Tadic regime declaring that the rape was actually good, the "hush money" — in whatever form — became unnecessary."
