Kemal Ataturk's genocide against the Christians of Asia Minor, the 500 + year Ottoman genocide against Balkan Christians....is that how easy we forget these things?

This is a disgrace for serbia and our past. Instead of having this there should have been a Turkish Terror thoughout the centuries on Serbs, Greeks and Armenians exhibit.

You have got to be kidding me...Turkish flags flying around NP as the Serbian President is there...opening an Ataturk center...why does the Serbian Government in power continue to seek ties with enemies of the Serbs, not just from the distant past, but also from the present and future? Turkey is not a friend of Serbia as can be seen by its stance on Kosovo and desire to reestablish the so-called 'green transversal' all the way to Cazinska Krajina. Turkey's friends are those who left Serbian Orthodoxy and became their Muslim allies, and that is the only group this ultra-nationalist and fundamental Islamic Turkish gov't ran by Gul and Erdogan wants to empower. It does know, however, that it has a willing collaborator in the not-so-naive Boris Tadic who is anything but a genuine representative of true Serbian people's desires and beliefs. This glossing over of political and social realities needs to be stopped by the Serbian MFA and the gov't overall and a search for reliable and true allies needs to be commenced. This is unnecessary, though, since Serbia already has powerful allies that don't stab them in the back or hang them from the proverbial pear (kruska) tree, as they did to my ancestor in 1820.
