Unless of course one of the parties is Serbian. In that case unitlateral decisions and destroying Serbian self governance is good to go.

What people here fail to understand is the main difference between RS and Kosovo: Kosovo was an entity with a historical identity and precise borders, which has existed as an entity for centuries, while RS is the result of war, aggression and genocide, and is made of parts of Bosnia that have never had a clear Serbian identity, and it has never had a coherent territorial identity. So Kosovo had the right to secede, as the other republics of former Yugoslavia have done, while RS cannot secede, unless the Serbs are ready to lose Sandak, Vojvodina, Presevo valley and other parts of their "sacred homeland". The slogan that states that each territory in which a Serb has lived in history is Serbia is no more than an empty slogan nowadays.
