Serbia needs to ask itself was it really worth all the effort that lead to the total destruction of Vukovar, the refugees and sadly the killing of 3000 citizens. May Vukovar's dead rest in peace.
What a shame... that was all those years ago and I will tell you that from this side of the Atlantic in North America, it still hurts to see images of the suffering that was imposed on Vukovar by Belgrade which in turn found it's way back to Belgrade in the end.
With tha mass exodus of Serbs from Krajina a few years later, it is now easy to see it was a conflict that was planned from the outset , and it looks to me a few more scenes still have to played out yet with Serbia getting the short end of the stick at the end of the day again.
All of those sad memories will die hard.
That was Hell.....never to be repeated again.....we pray.
