Finally one Serbian ganster has been arrested! I am so glad, let the punishment fit the crime. Atleast in Germany, he will be kept in lock down and not set free. As for the other comments, everybody knows that the KLA generated money from drugs and other mafia activity. The truth is the truth whether people writing the comments try wash them clean. Instead of arguing who is what, here's an idea..how about arresting them for harboring prostitutes, dealing and supplying drugs! A crime is a crime no matter what nationality and no matter where is takes place. As much as I am happy that Draskovic is arrested, this would also apply to the criminals living in Kosovo as well.

A criminal by any other name is still a criminal-do not make comparisons-do not make excuses-do not tolerate criminals in a civilized society regardless of what language they speak or what ethnic group they belong to.

"Funny how many Serbs perceive Kosovo to be a mafia state. DOn't know why, then, they would want to hold on to such a state. Plus, I don't recall Kosovo Albanians ever killed their PM..."

No.. albanians only killed albanians collaborating with serbs.
KiM is the central drug source/route for western europe. No need to deny this.

And as far as for holding on to the state of Kosovo... it's more like protecting what is ours.
KiM needs to be cleaned from the albanian drug cartels.

Stevo,

you build opinions of an entire people based on media interpretations.

You obviously don't have a clue as to what you are talking about and you make no attempt to understand the context under which the KLA fought a war against Serbia.

Its futile to even make you challenge some of your very basic assumptions you make, but maybe with time you will begin to...or maybe never!

Talking of people like Ceku with blood in their hands...it is an issue that I am prepared to discuss, but before you say that -- you should first begin to question your own people in the Serbian community who have their hands with LOADS MORE blood.

Thing is, when you clear off your own hands of blood and disassociate yourself with people who killed in your name (e.g. Mladic, Arkan, Seselj etc etc etc), then you gain the moral authority to question other people's alleged war criminals. I do not see any such attempt from your side.

What I do see is this readily propagandistic/pitiful rage that you have in yourself, unable to make a rational argument, but instead engaging in emotional propaganda by drawing on the most sickly and distorted views of religious fundamentalism.

Trying to portray the war in Kosovo as Bin Laden's making or bringing in the Bin Laden theme in Kosovo is ONE amongst MANY of Serbian attempts to distort the underlying reality of atrocities committed there, and unsurprisingly, NO ONE in the international community has taken such views seriously.

I cant help but feel sadness for people who that think they are making a valid point by not questioning their own fundamental assumptions inherent in their arguments.

The Bin Laden argument resonates well with the Serbian public, given that there is a huge derogatory tendency in the Serbian public towards Kosovo Albanians...

Hence I would not be surprised if one day there was an attack on Earth by Aliens and the Serbs went to the Security Council to convince the world that somehow the Aliens are related or allied to Kosovo Albanians.

Very sad arguments. If that's all you got in your ammunition of your arguments, too sad for you. But I am sure there are Serbs out there that no longer associate themselves with views such as yours.

To ????,
To name any terrorist with a large wine collection? Ceku of course! Thanks for answering the question for me! Let's not forget that some of the 9/11 terrorists drank alcohol also.

Ceku is married to a Catholic Croatian womean and this Stevo tries to make him terroist. Ceku also said he had a large wine collection. DO you know about any Bin Lden terroists having a wine collection?

Stop with lies.

C i believe Stevo just proved your argument and he doesn't even know it.

I really like how he immidiatly ties Ceku to Bin Laden. Comon Stevo is that the best you can do?

Speaking of state sopnosred crime just reread the article again and see how your state gave this killer a badge to operate in Kosovo as he wished.
Lucky for you he then came home and took care of your best prime minister and threw your country into abyss.

C,
I think you are wrong in what you say, as I have tried to find an example on this website in user comments from Serbs as a blanket of opinion, but no luck. Where do you find that Serbs see Kosovo province as a "state"? It is a province of Serbia, and nothing more - there is no question of "hold on" because the real issue is one of stamping out organized crime, so instead of "hold on" it should be "lock up criminals". If there is mafia in Kosovo province, and there is, it needs stamping out. Same goes for the rest of Serbia. The difference is that KLA's Ceku is someone with blood on his hands and should answer for his past actions instead of disgracefully being let off the hook by Interpol for 'political reasons'.

As for mafia, the KLA - Ceku's 'alma mater' - is a drug-dealing, terrorist mafia group (backed by bin Laden, who the Americans learned more about some time in September 2001) that was recognized by the US State Department as such until 1998, when they decided to be buddies with them. They also supplied the US with much of the propaganda they used during the 1999 war, for example, James Rubin saying that there were 100,000 Albanian men rounded up in Pristina football stadium, only for a suspicious reporter to check on this and find out that the stadium was empty and it was not true. Criminals and criminality should be stamped out wherever it is found, and 'unindicted' war criminals should not be kept out of a court of law just because of politics.

Funny how many Serbs perceive Kosovo to be a mafia state. DOn't know why, then, they would want to hold on to such a state. Plus, I don't recall Kosovo Albanians ever killed their PM...
