Security Council discusses Kosovo

Pres. Putin is exactly right. There should be no double standards by the international community. Equality among men is the guiding principle for all man made laws. Kosovo is not very special as compared to other separatist regions such as Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Mr. Putin is in a gaining mission, sadly using Kosovo tragedy for Russia's expansion, or should I say to reunite 30 million Russians that were left out of current Russian borders after Soviet Union's collapse. In my opinion, Mr. Putin could care less if Kosovo becomes indipendent as long as the US agrees to recognize the separatist aspirations of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Their strategy is not to veto, but to similiarize the events of those two regions to Kosovo, so later can push for their Indipendence. Sadly, some Serbian politicians are falling for this trick. In the end, Russia will go along with US, Great Britain, and France. Kosovo becomes indipendent and so does Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
