Greece recognizes the so-called Kosovo? They reacted

Albin Kurti said Greece is close to recognizing Kosovo's independence, i.e., it is close to changing that decision among the EU members who do not recognize it.

I agree with Jeff.
There has never, in all of history, been a time when Germany has not wished to be dominant.
History repeats itself.
And those with no character or dignity will usually bow to such dominance.

To get recognition by the remaining EU holdouts, Kosovo needs to get some kind of status agreement with Serbia. But I don't see any signs of willingness to compromise on any controversial issues. The most important one, I think, is the situation in the north. I could easily describe some feasible compromise solutions, but what's the point? Would anyone listen?

It is very bizzarre that EU can not convince yet the five of its members to formally recognize Kosovo independence. They are following a different approach 'to get Serbia on board' knowingly that it will be the most disloyal member and pro Russia.
