John Bolton has threatened the ICC with sanctions. "The US will use any means to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this ilegitimate court" said Bolton. He vowed that the US will retaliate by banning ICC judges and prosecutors from entering the US, impose sanctions on any funds they had in the USA and prosecute them (ICC judges and prosecutors) in the American courts.
Bolton: "if thy court comes after us, Israel or any of our allies we will not sit quietly".

BUT THE YANKS ARE HAPPY TO SEE NON AMERICANS AND THOSE THEY SEE AS NON ALLIES TO BE TRIED.
So much for "truth, justice, democracy, equal rights, etc, eh America...???

I didn't want to post anything until I talked to a few people who are familiar with the ICC. They said that the warrant for Putin was illegal and that the ICC broke its own laws by doing such a thing. Second issuing the warrant for removing children from a war zone was not against any laws and third all this has shown is the ICC is another corrupt institution. One went on to say that issuing this warrant is the height of utter hypocrisy when US war crimes are overlooked. She said that the level of corruption in OPCW is beyond staggering then IAEA have turned into a joke where nothing they say is believed.
Now remember this is not sj talking but people from the west who are well informed about these international institutions.

The ICC only does what the USA says. It does nothing to treat the aggressors only the victims any nation that is part of the ICC is a nation of shame and shameful people.

The Government of South Africa has been the voice of reason in international affairs lately.

Courts are set up to vilify the victors, nothing more. They are all kangaroo courts from the Communist show trials to the trials at Nuremberg. One of the most gruesome war crimes committed during WWII was the firebombing of Dresden and other German Cities, the nuclear bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima and the gutting of the German ship Bismarck for revenge of the sinking of the Hood. None of these war crimes saw a day in court. More recently the NATO war crimes bombing of RTV news station, bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, Greek Consulate in Nis, use of Cluster bombs in Nis, use of Depleted Uranium, bombing of the residence of an elected leader (Milosevic), bombing of passenger train in Kosovo not once but twice to name a few.
