Serbs in favor of EU accession?

I very much doubt that is correct. Most Serbs would rather join Russia.

That poll is nonsense. Certain polls are done to maintain a particular narrative. I understand why. The EU gives Serbia money gratis for infrastructure works and that’s money that the Serbian Government does not have to find from their own budget so Serbs “love” the EU.

In reality the vast majority in Serbia have long lost the love or any ambitions to join the EU. They now see the EU for what it is. The current government is much the same as the Serbian people, but while the money keeps coming in they will sing the EU anthem, for now. That does not mean they will sell out Serbia just play the game intelligently.
