I am an American citizen who has been in Serbia for many years. I do not agree with Mr. Hill's position on any level. I also find it hypocritical for Mr. Hill to point out Russia's aggression - without also acknowledging the aggression from the West (NATO/US) in which Serbia bombed. Which doesn't even go to the issue of Kosovo - which somewhat mirrors the Ukraine and Crimea and the latest annexations of Russia. What I feel Serbia understands is the fact that war and sanctions only serve to make the common people suffer. Politicians, lawmakers, presidents and leaders of all levels will still live in comfort as the general populace struggles to scratch out a simple existence. The attitude of these comments is like 'joining a team' - instead of leading YOUR people.

Send this guy home where he belongs. Srbija is for Srbija and not to be dictated to by the US Meddling clown.

When it comes to sanctions on Russia, if we look at the world, about 50 states have imposed sanctions and 150 have not. I would say this is the ultimate answer to who is on the side of freedom. UN votes are rigged so basically worthless but those imposing sanctions are doing it against the interests of the state and people. Let's wait for winter, I think things will become more clear.

So according to Hill, Russia is evil, the west is good. Yes he is right the west is good at destroying other nations, over throwing elected governments installing imperial Washington Clowns in position. The US under Clinton unleashed NATO on Yugoslavia infringing on the territorial integrity of Serbia and killing thousands . The US is no friend of any Balkan country , Albania, Croatia , Bulgaria and Romania among others will soon find out being friends with the US is the death blow to your country .
