Most of the equipment of former Yugo Serbia stole is 50 years old.
Most cannibalized to keep a few still "running and shooting".
As most of the equipment parts was made in 100's of factories in all Yugo republics.
After break up 30 years later it managed to purchase only 8 helicopters.
Also make 12 troop carriers.
Managed to beg Russia for some 1970's era tanks and scout cars and few mothballd old MiG 29's.
O ya donation from U.S.A of some basic Humvee's.
At that rate Serbia will be left with squirt guns.
As most of the military equipment is way past its expiatory date.
In Croatia the military spending increased by 90% in a couple of years.

For years I’ve read use of the term “NATO aggression” here on B92 often from people who describe themselves as Putin lovers. Be consistent. Putin is aggressively invading to just take over land to satisfy his pathetic ego. That is a far more disgusting aggression than in the case of NATO where it was genuinely intervening to stop the killing.

Putin is the Hitler here, and Serbia will look a lot less foolish if it does not squeal and wiggle to avoid applying sanctions on the criminal Putin.

Vucic will incur Putin’s wrath for disagreeing with him by stating he respects Ukraine’s territorial integrity. Vucic does not deserve to be president of Serbia with such an attitude.Though Russia was helpless to aid Serbia during the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999, they were with us in spirit.

Serbia is in a very difficult position, so this decision by Vucic and his government is the only real option which they have. Not joining sanctions against the Russians will annoy the West, but they are used to such a scenario from Belgrade. They will get over it.

I think Vucic is in deep doo doo for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity, especially after the collapse of the Russian stock market. Putin is going to be in a very bad mood. It’s understandable, of course, after all his assets have been frozen and he won’t be able to travel outside Russia. He is being indicted for war crimes. He should have given more thought on his decision on Ukraine. Life will never be the same for the little guy. I kinda feel sorry for him.

Nobody is touching the territorial integrity of Ukraine Vucic. Russians are in Ukraine for a humanitarian mission: save the children of Donbass and Lugansk. Plus plus, since they are there, additional denazification mission of Kiev's hot heads. I thought Serbia would take a principled position this time and openly support Russia. Not everything revolves around Kosovo i Metohija but maybe Im wrong as Im not a Serb apparently. The fact that Ukraine hasn't recognized Kosovaaaa shouldn't be a scapegoat for the crimes Ukraine has committed against Russians in Ukraine. But then again Im not a politician.

I know Lenny Croatia so rich it sends so much on military. But Lenny what happen to repair earthquake damaged Churches and Cathedrals in Zagreb. Last Christmas people were celebrating mass in tents outside those buildings. Also why have to wait for EU money to do repairs????

If Serbia only has squirt guns, Croatia has paper planes that crash when wet.

Serbia has upgraded all of its M-84 tanks, received 32 Upgraded T72ABM, building its own Lazar Armor Carriers and putting more orders through. Croatia, maybe 30 M84 tanks, none upgraded, a ton of donated Humvees and so called other US armored carriers . Zero upgraded defence missiles unlike Serbia with the Pantsirs and Nora Artillery. Further, Serbia has also upgraded its Drone forces and other new age technology such as the Little Milo. Croatia is no match for Serbia militarily, that is obvious. Serbia needs to introduce conscription and order more new generation tanks and armor if it wants to continue its neutrality stance.
