Well surprise, surprise, Daniel Sewer does have some brains. This is the situation; the US has no interest in settling this matter since it has no interest in partitioning Kosovo. On that issue Serbia agrees with the US in that there will be no division of that region and these talks are just that talks.
Who is Kurti and how much authority does he have? Kurti has been selected by the US to give the image of strength, well to the Albos at least, and that he will not negotiate with Belgrade, but in reality the US says jump and he responds asking how high?
The end result? Belgrade helps Serbs in Kosovo materially as well as financially. The Albos in Kosovo stagnate and more and more wish to leave.
That is the real picture of Kosovo.

You are misinformed. Have you ever been to Kosovo, for that matter, have you ever been to Serbia? Your rhetoric is just plain silly. Serbs in Kosovo have many problems, thanks to Vucic. Don’t you realize that Serbs can see through your fabrications of the truth! You are inadvertently hurting the wrong people i.e. the people you wish to help, the Serbs.

The only problems Serbs have in Kosovo are your Albanian goat herders. If you think that if Belgrade recognised Kosovo tomorrow those problems would disappear? No, they would not. They would become even worse.

I have been to Serbia many, many times. I have visited Kosovo on several occasions and in 2015 I actually accompanied a friend from the Commerzbank Bank of Germany who was there in an official capacity for 4 days. This friend had access to the entire Kosovo region and if you think Serbs have problems you should see your Albos. There is no industry, no tourism, no exports plus very little agriculture. Kosovo lives off EU aid. If that was cut off government services would collapse with 2 weeks.
