Although I seriously doubt it would ever happen: if USA does indeed give k-albos Visa free travel, then this would be a HUGE blessing to Serbia. As the the rest of EU has already learned: k-albos don't come to visit, they come to stay! By all means, let the USA have them! I don't believe that the Trump administration is that stupid, but one can only hope...

This is all about geopolitics. It has little to do with the love of the US for the Balkans but to play around in the EU's backyard. The EU only has itself to blame for that because they did not fill the vacuum.
But since there is enlargement fatigue in the EU anyway, perhaps they simply don't care.
But the EU had better be careful. The US is also fooling around in Poland and in the Baltic. The goal of Trump is to break the EU apart so the US can do bilateral trade and not having to put up with one market.
There is no benevolence.

Every Balkan country is being emptied. Croatia and Serbia are no better. Each to their own. To me is strange that EU still keeps visas for Kosovo citizens, yet in 2015 they allowed 1.5 million refugees/immigrants enter EU without visas or passports.

The fact that Serbia did not sanction Russia when requested to by the U.S. is reason enough not to allow visa free travel to citizens of Serbia.

Sweety I would be ecstatic if they abolished visas for the US. Yes absolutely over the moon. In fact if the EU would do the same I'd say all my Christmases have come at once. Within 24 months not one Albo insight in Kosovo LOL.

I have never seen such a reaction over US visas LOL. Who gives a f**** if Albos from Kosovo can travel visa free to the US? I was there last year and it was already showing signs of being a crap hole with all the poverty.

Contrary to the US the EU is well aware that if they lifted visas within a 2-year period Kosovo would be empty and all their “reasons” for recognising a breakaway republic would end up in the toilet.

I find Albos comments on this subject so amusing, from it’s a slap in Serbia’s face and the US has not given visa free travel to Serbia because they did not impose sanctions against Russia. So, the excuses continue.
They can’t see is that visa free travel is no better than throwing scraps on the floor and call it a feast. Serbia has visa free travel to the EU; so what?
The US wants to invest in Serbia proper or as they say “Washington is serious about its promises to Belgrade to open new jobs. We want to fulfill the promises we made to Serbian officials and focus on economic development".
Just what has the US promised the Albos in Kosovo? Nothing at all. They don’t have to. Why? Where are the Albos going to go? They have locked themselves in with the Americans and should they not dance to their tunes they would be more than happy to wipe them all out.
Your servants to them not partners on any given level.

Where it's mentioned in this news article that Kosovar-Serbs can freely travel to the U.S.my question is what's the situation for the Kosovar-Albanians? Does the same privilege apply to them?

Can anyone point to an outlet where this is being considered? Google does not yield many results about this, other than this article.
