ROFL. Because most likely this equation is true:

Darko = Tom = Liljana = Rhonda = Seljak = Lenard = MSG = JS = British = "Doot", the resident psychopath of B92.

If you really returned from Serbia to the UK just few days ago, then you must by law quarantine yourself for 14 days so that you don't infest the Brits with the illness you got from your Chinese brothers whose flag your chieftain Vučić can't have enough to kiss.

Your original country is on the other side of the Carpathian Mountains. That's where you slithered from and stole the land of natives and are still squatting the Balkans since then.

Eviction is overdue.

Anyone who thinks life in Serbia is good has never been there. The people themselves reveal unhappiness just by looking at their sad faces. Try living in Serbia when you have to feed your family. There is still high unemployment in Serbia by any standard. The Trolls that frequent b92 have never been to Serbia and most probably are not Serbian. That is clear, simply illustrated by their lies.

Darko, what a stupid post from you.
From opinion polls and surveys its clear that a good majority of Serbs do not want EU membership. But I grant you that there is a significant number that do. But Serbia plays the game. As long as Serbia "wants" EU membership grants keep coming.....free money. It also allows the country to easily export to the EU. The reality though is that Serbia will never join. Nor will Albania, Bosnia and N Macedonia. The EU will not allow new members for decades because the EU is in huge debt, its near broke. And the UK leaving leaves a huge hole in the budget.
You just dont get it, do you???

Ans I can say withconfidence that the country is going forward (and thats the bit you dong like).
A recent report on the western Balkans showed that between 2008 and 2018 44% of the population left Albania. Yes, approaching half. And during that same period 30% of K Albos left Kosovo. But only 8% of Serbs left Serbia.

Economist, sure I suspect the standards in Serbia are behing Germany, UK, France, etc.
That is well know when you look at what happened there 25 yrs ago. However, there is little doubt that the country is moving in the right direction. Their debt is approx 54% of GDP. Thats reasonable. Their growth rate is excellent. They have attracted countless foreign investments. The country is catching up fast. But of course it will take another 10/20 yrs or more to be able to be near some western countries.
On the other hand look at Croatia where debt is 74% of GDP. And Croatia will lose a lot due to corona and lack of tourists.
Serbia has a bright future but a long way to go. Its a lot better than many nations, such as Albania, Macedonia, etc.
Then compare how woderful it is in Italy, Greece, Spain, etc, with their huge debts. Their people eill feel that pain soon.

If any Russian official attends the negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo, this will be the kiss of death for Serbia in that this will cause the blocking of any chance for Serbia to join the EU. Vucic knows this very well, let us see how intelligently he responds to Russian provocation.

So all in all it seems Serbia is very much going forward and standards will rise. But you know that, and clearly dont like it. Lets face it, to people like you any bad news from Serbia is good news in your world.....

A huge "U turn" took the place.
Highlight of my visit was to see Ms Brnabic in Subotica and the president in Novi Sad. Could not stop clapping.

Like I say supermarkets "Maxi" "Trgopromet" filled with fantastic things, plentiful.

Rhonda, here you go again with just negative BS. I have never been to Serbia, and clearly they have a long way to go. However their unemployment rate is at record low. Record investment from foreign firms. More roads and infrastructure built in last 5/10 years than in previous 150.
If you think its bad in Serbia then how bad is it in Albania and Kosovo, where the only thriving industries are drugs.....???

Judging by your Welsh name you are the troll, liar and someone who has never been to rep. Serbia. Just bla, bla bla out of hatred.
I just returned from the rep Serbia. I visited Subotica to see Ms Brnabic, followed by visit to Novi Sad to see, hear the President.
Street buzzing with people, smiling, hugging, kissing.
Kids happy, running around.
Women dressed beautifully, pretty. Restaurants, coffee shops full of people. OMG, so many cakes, ice creams to choose from.
I saw a huge "U" turn. Big difference.
Between countries I would say Rep Serbia is the best.
Open markets colourful, nice fresh veg. Fruits...
Ofcourse in any country there are sad people, and the ones that have and have not.
Work is the answer.
President is not here to give it to you.
Its up to you rhonda!
Elbow grease my little troll.

"Everyone's goal is for Serbia not to get anything in Kosovo and Metohija, so it is impossible to meet halfway. In our platform, Kosovo is part of Serbia, but in theirs, Kosovo is an independent state," he said.
==========================
Who cares what is in their platform. Seriously, Resolution 1244 states that Kosovo is Serbian territory so why do you care so much about what opinions others have?
Most of the world agrees with Res 1244 as well.
Just stick to that and tell them that they are welcome to try to change that "little fact" but unless something changes there you are only prepared to negotiate about logistics not territory.
