"Antifa has been planning a rebellion for months"

I suspect that the reports from US officials are probably true to a large extent. But I am amused at how easily people swallow and believe statements such as "claims by law enforcement official who has access to intelligence".
Which official, what intelligence??
Other statements include....
"Unnamed official claims"...?
Really? Why is he/she unnamed?
Further claims that "Antifa, according to him incites violence and chaos and dispair".......
I suspect this Antifa are nasty and need to be put in their place.
Here are the US claiming that this group are terrorists, but radical Albanians are "freedom fighters". The same Albanians who as early as 1991 started shooting and killing policemen, Serbian civilians and moderate Albanians. The likes of Jashiri was a terrorist who took up the gun and incited violence and chaos.
As I said in another post, George Robertson (defence secretary at the time) stood up in parliament in oct 98 and said that to date the kla had murdered more people and civilians to date than Serbian police or army.

Antifa is only a symptom of a much larger disease. It’s like most movements that born out of frustration where people seek change but get nowhere.
A couple of days ago during the marches a young white man wearing a face mask was interviewed on camera and asked why were they resorting to violence.
He said that the ballot box did not make any difference, candidates for political office promise everything under the sun but once in office all you get is more of the same and that all other avenues led to dead ends so this was the only path for change.
Its amusing to see that Trump is willing to declare Antifa a terrorist organisation but the Hong Kong groups are freedom fighters – amazing.
There is a total disconnect with the US and reality. They actually think no one sees what is going on.

Antifa is one thing, "Washington Times" is an other.

It is confusing, but fact: "Washington Times" is not "The Washington Post".
One is a far-right nutcase, the other is a major daily newspaper.

"Washington Times" claims to be "just" a right-wing outlet, in the reality it is not very far from being a nut case.

Luckily at the end of the article we can read:

"On the other hand, it was announced earlier today that the FBI office in Washington does not have intelligence data that indicate the involvement or presence of the Antifa movement in the violence during the protest"

So according FBI "Antifa" is a non-issue here.

Why not say it straight on the begin? Why do I need to read the whole article - just on the end to learn, according FBI it is about essentially nothing?

According Zoran, a long-time veteran of B92 with whom once in a while I communicate via e-mail, certain embassies in Belgrade and Pristina are watching B92 closely - and some of the regulars are embassy staff.

According him, what they comment and under what nicks is up to them, take much what you see with a grain of salt.
