However, for foreigners and those Serbs who have not yet been to Belgrade, his claims about the good economic growth of Serbia will be nothing but a cruel joke.

At times the English translation on B92 can be only described as haphazard, but in the meantime, you may wish to see a country that Serbia should be looking towards to emulate if it wants to succeed and thus not prove to be, as you say, a cruel joke.

Funny how there is a "Woodrow Wilson Boulevard" in serbia. Wilson was the one who was against the partition of Albania between serbia and greece after ww1. He was the one who demanded that Albania to be recongnized as an independent state and join the Leauge of Nations in 1920. How about building a Bill Clinton Boulevard as well, eh?

BTW, what is Vucic trying to say: “Belgrade gets the most modern part of the city”. Belgrade is the city! How can the president of a European city make such a stupid statement and embarrass us all.

As we Belgraders know, the utterances of our President are far from the truth. Perhaps his speech was for people who have never visited Belgrade and he was pulling the wool over their eyes. However, for foreigners and those Serbs who have not yet been to Belgrade, his claims about the good economic growth of Serbia will be nothing but a cruel joke.

BG celebrating.
No "sljivovica", "dudovaca" in sight. And definitely No Armagnac 1914.
BG is dry. What is going on out there?
