Croats fought at the battle of Kosovo and almost won the battle all by themselves.

No ones claiming that. Be unlike the Serbs we didnt lose and turn it into a national pasttime or pretend that by losing we somehow acutally defeated them.

the Serb people should know that the battle of Kosovo in 1389 was lost

The Serb people should know that the battle of Kosovo in 1389 was NOT lost.
The loss is a myth.

The reality is that the battle was a draw (see even the Wiki!)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kosovo

It became a loss several months after the battle because the (Un)holy Roman Empire with the (non)Hungarian King Sigismund (the same one who let Ian Has burn at the stake and who killed the entire Bosnian nobility) cowardly attacked Serbia in the back and Queen Milica had no other choice, but ask for Ottoman help.

I guess, this was the first sign of "Teutonic" love of Serbia and it still happens.

Do I love (West) Germans!

But hey, why tell it how it is/was??? Much better to stick to myths....

Then we can't fault Albanian myths about Kosovo?

View from the UK,
It is true what you say about English myths, but no Englishman believes in them. However, in Serbia, everyone believes in the Heavenly Kingdom, where all the dead Serbian warriors went after loosing the Battle of Kosovo in 1389. Why do the Serbs go each year to a monastery to kiss the 600 year old hand, which is the only remains, of some supposed Serbian saint.

I am glad to see someone honest enough to tell the Serbian people the truth which everyone else already knows. Furthermore, the Serb people should know that the battle of Kosovo in 1389 was lost not only by Serbs but other neighboring allies. Also, many Serbs fought on the side of the Turks/Ottomans.

This is a bit of a non story. Every nation has its myths.
Here in England we have sold the story of Robin Hood, who stole from the rich to give to the poor......
ye right...!!! He was a common criminal who stole from the rich, and thats it.
We also have a highwayman (outlaw) called Dick Turpin. Myth says he rode his horse, Black Bess, from London to York in one night...... a distance well over 200 miles..!!!
There is also king Arthur and the knights of the round table. There is no proof that any of them ever existed. And of course the Loch Ness monster...LOL....
But hey, why tell it how it is/was??? Much better to stick to myths....
