It's important regular meetings are held at UN HQ because thick&thin things are happening on the ground.
When kosovo forces submit UN staff with terror and implement own "just invented" laws and rules please everyone spare the thought for the Serbs, Roma and others.

I will tell you what Unmik are doing.
They are Kosovos father, brother, mother and God if we like it or not.

You see, the Serbian province of Kosovo is under UNSCR 1244 and as stated before, it cannot be abolished until the five permanent memberstates of UNSC says so.
Thats why the albanians and the supporters of Kosovo so badly wants it abolished. They KNOW that as long as this resolution is in force, Kosovo stays where it is, ie a disputed Serbian province.
This is nothing either you, me or someone else can do anything about.

Of course, we can pretend, argue and wish but fact matters.
We can discuss about the peoples will, the international court etc etc.
But UN resolutions are above this according to international law and you have just seen it. The quarterly meetings in UN are still there and it will continue forever if no deal is reached.

Thats why the albanians and the supporters of Kosovo so badly wants it abolished. They KNOW that as long as this resolution is in force, Kosovo stays where it is, ie a disputed Serbian province.
This is nothing either you, me or someone else can do anything about.

No, UNSC did not approve the bombing and Nato got critics from the whole world. Maybe it was necessary, maybe not. This has zero to do with what I wrote.
(One never hear anyone talk about the bombing, because the Nato countries who were involved are ashamed today that the were lured into that there were "hundreds of thousands people killed and stacks of bodies at Pristina stadium". At the time, I can admit that I was also fooled.)

Anyway, what I wrote was that Kosovo, as it is for now, is a Serbian disputed province. About half of the world see it as a country and the other half see it as Serbia. In news, on maps, at meetings etc etc, the Kosovo boundary against Serbia proper is marked with dots although real countries are marked with lines.
As I wrote, neither you or me can do anything about this. Its a fact.
UNSCR 1244 is Kosovos father, mother and God. Thats why the big ones are so keen to have an agreement. And an agreement after negotiation menas that you have to win some, loose some as you will be aware.

Jasmina......no, Kosovo is not joining nato. Do you know why? Because it aint a recognised country (see UN notes on status of Kosovo). And can you explain to us all in your wisdom how its going to be possible to join nato when some of the members do not recognise Kosovo as a country?
And for your information the US broke all international law when they didn't get UN approval for bombings in '99. They also did the same in the case of Iraq. That also was an illegal act and likewise was based on a lie (try denying that...!!?). And how good is life in Iraq today after "American democracy".....??
But take note, its now 2019 and the world has changed. America will abandon you at some point in the future. They did the same to Ukraine and the Kurds recently.
Explain to us why the Yanks would ever risk going to war with Serbia and Russia?? For the sake of land thieves, corrupt mafiosa, human organ trafficers, etc? Read up what US ambassador Montgomery said earlier this year about Pristina and its leaders. And he aint the only one to say the truth......
